(3.9) CI 9.7k ES/Eva/Block Hybrid Flicker Strike/ Blade Flurry Trickster BUFFED
Its league viable, but i wouldn't start with that build.
It needs a lot of good items to begin with. |

I just started playing again after 6 years away. Flicker strike was by far my favorite. Thanks for putting this out there so that I can play it again!!

Welcome back!
I will invest more time into this build/ guide in the future since trickster get's a really cool buff with the next patch!!! " |
|
Just seen the patch notes, and with all the new Trickster stuff, and ES shield stuff (even some channelling stuff for Flurry), I'm really torn between this and going Occultist CI w/ Soulrend+Bane.
Will you update this guide in time for the League start or shortly after? Trickster Flicker/Flurry definitely seems like the harder of the two to build, but with your guide, I'm confident I can make it work! |
|
Hey!
I try to update it by time, i'm really excited for the changes. Personally i would recommend you to go with occultist first, that chick is strong :D Later after certain crafting mods are unlocked you can then switch to this. Multimodding is slightly nerfed yet we still get 400is pdps weapons, which should make this build more viable. I will also add a tree for santa claws. |

" Sounds awesome! Is there any other Trickster build you could recommend to League Start with, knowing all the changes with the patch notes. Ya know, just something good and consistent to build exp, currency etc with until I could afford this? In previous leagues I fall prey to bouncing around characters a lot, and selling the gear from my main to power them up. This isn't sustainable, and so I usually end up broke and with a bad build. So this league I plan on trying to stick to one character only (possibly even reaching 100). |

Honestly no idea, maybe essence drain trickster as a league starter
RaizQT made a video about that a while ago. I did some adjustments on POB with the new Tree.. Since Vaal Pact won't work with energy shield we might have to take the new energy shield leech cluster, which is near shadow. Traveling to that cluster and filling it is a pain though, yet we have to test how good ghost shroud and its energy shield gain on hit works. At my state i would gain 1.3k ish es per hit, we can have up to 3 shrouds and gain one every second. Maybe this is enough either way i got a 9.4k es version with bad leech and a 8.9k es version with all the leech i can get. This is however with insane gear, in league we will more likely hit 6-7k es, which is the amount i had and started playing this build back then :) |
|
Is the extra Energy Shield Leech that important though, especially since we can get it on items now? They basically baked in the Vaal Pact double leech into Ghost Reaver now, meaning you should be able to take the higher maximum ES without too many downsides?
Though I'm not sure where else you may have re-routed - mind sharing the PoB? Last edited by Archernick#3883 on Mar 6, 2019, 3:40:58 PM

Vaal pact is doubling Leech Amount and Recovery Rate
Ghost Reaver only doubles Recovery Rate Funny thing is though that ES leech will have half the Recovery Rate we now have, so essentially we have the same leech for es now, just without vaal pact. My Current leech Rate again is around 4.5k es on hit, while with 3.6 it drops down to 2.5k with the es leech cluster above shadow around 3k. This build doesn't rely on leech as a sort of main defense, but we have to get that es pool back up after a huge hit and counter blood rage degen. ES on Hit from Watchers Eye and Ghost Shroud from Trickster should help greatly though. I'm still a bit confused that stuff like Vitality Void won't affect ES leech. The new wording of Ghost Reaver is not really excluding it clearly for me. The new ES leech support gem might help us out there, we shall see. Here are my current POB's: With Dagger: https://pastebin.com/m93Mm1hk With Claws: https://pastebin.com/FKpgFFEG So those followings won't be used most likely but just in case POB with focus on Leech: Dagger: https://pastebin.com/MUzTwYyu Claws: https://pastebin.com/2MZXbu2E The Main Guide will be updated once 3.6 has launched, not on day one but asap, have a lot of movement in my real life atm :D |

Interesting! I definitely agree that it's better to not build for ES Leech, and that the 1st two trees you linked look a lot nicer. I think Ghost Shroud is going to give us enough survivability to be perfectly fine, but even if it didn't turn out to be enough, the new ES Leech Support might be worth taking a look to bump us up, and even get some extra dmg multiplier.
What did you think about the new channelling support when it comes to Blade Flurry? And hope the RL stuff goes smoothly! I actually can't play the new League till Monday for the same reasons. :) |
