Witch Gems for a 5L Staff and 5L Chest would you prefer?

Hi. I only start play from begining and can you explain how you use curse stone? I have link between warlords mark+ curse on hit+ herald of ice.But i can't understand how it must work.
It work if i do link arc+warlords mark+ curse on hit and use arc. But it didn't work in passive.

Cast on Dmg Warlords mark. Curse immune bosses are a pain thats why im also carring one hybrid flask.

Im planning to change some things to depend more on curse-auras as it comes out. It will free some gem slots to provide me with more diversity later on (depending on gear).

Im 100% positive when i link my staff ill switch to 7l BM to completly reserve mana for this purpose.

If i had 5l Staff and no 6l chest, i think its better to switch to LC or Daresso 5L or Carracas.

With gems in armor:

Herald of Ice - Curse On Hit - Warlords Mark - Innervate - Culling Strike

And Staff:

Cast On Crit - Cyclone - Life Leech - Ice Nova - Shock Nova / Arc

Its very easy to roll colors on both.

Look on herald of ice gem:


It says that "If you shatter an enemy, it explodes and deals damage to surrounding enemies"

Every time Ice Nova crits it freezes enemies. After killing this frozen enemy explosion from Herald of Ice is performed cursing enemies surrounding him. To make sure that One or Few of enemies die faster than the rest im using Assasins Mark 40% more crit multi vs cursed enemies.

Most of the time it works something like this:
1) Herald of Thunder curses 1-2 enemies.
2) Ice nova freezes enemies
3) Aoe spells kill enemy
4) Explosion from Herald of Ice curses rest of the enemies
5) Next pulse of novas kills rest of the enemies with additional % leech

To test it correctly you would have to use very low lvl spells in high lvl maps, so monsters dont die too fast for you to observe it.

Tested something new and it seems that Rallying Cry was enough for me to sustain during long fights also boosting dps.

But still requires mana regen so for NO REGEN maps i would either way recommend one hybrid for bosses.

Note that with BM staff problem doesnt exist at all.

Linking Innervate with HoI is genius. I shall incorporate that into my future builds.

Most probably running this build again in new league to test changes. So as soon as new skill tree gets released, planning starts :D
