Yeah, I was responding to the guy above me who used just Flicker Strike and Multistrike to test against the masses and oddly didn't find it that great :P

As an aside... I do want to also see for clearing (i.e., multiple-targets):
Flicker Strike - Multistrike - Melee Splash - COMK - Ice Nova

I'm not too far off 67 now - would have had it if I hadn't spent the weekend travelling and going to see the new Star Wars film!

For bosses you would want the single-target setup (either in the chest or another Oro's), or use the Deadhand Talisman to make them spawn the worms for COMK. Carnage was your biggest issue in the clip, but that is to be expected without either of those things mentioned.

For using Flicker Strike for clearing try:

Flicker Strike - Multistrike - Melee Splash - WED - Fire Penetration

It should be pretty good, as it is a quite common setup for Flicker Strike with Oro's. If this doesn't perform very well something else entirely might be going on - Ignite chance and not enough maximum Frenzy Charges, maybe.

Pick up the Breath of Flame passive at the top of the tree if you are able (10% more ignite on that branch). It would result in keeping at max Frenzy Charges more easily (Increased AS via the Charges and via Flicker Strike, and More %damage). The +1 maximum Frenzy Charge bandit reward would have been helpful, but it is fairly expensive to change that.

Could you perhaps post a clip with the Cyclone setup (Cyclone - Fire Pen - WED - COMK - Ice Nova), in preferably a similar situation (Tier 6 map with enemies that aren't strongly clustered)? This is so I can get a better comparison of the two with all else being equal.

Lastly, the Flicker Strike single-target setup would still almost certainly be an improvement over the Cyclone COMK setup for single-targets:

Flicker Strike - Multistrike - WED - Fire Pen - [Life Leech/Fortify/Faster Attacks]

Also, anyone tried Detonate Dead instead of Ice Nova? I know the COMK %Increase Spell Damage doesn't affect it (sadly), but we have like +300% increased fire damage in total, doing 4 times the damage listed (x damage + 6% of corpse maximum life).

It is about 125 flat damage less than Ice Nova at level 20 of both (average of ~475 vs ~350), but 6% of corpse maximum life should easily cover that (it would require the corpse has 2500 max life or more - almost a certainty).

The only weakness comparatively would be the radius. Still, it would scale a lot better on the harder maps damage-wise (24% of corpse max. health out-scales the flat damage by a lot). I think it could work with the Cyclone clearing setup quite well using an Increase AOE support - although that requires a six-link. So, maybe its something to swap Ice Nova out for when you get a six-link and are tackling the harder maps.

That said... Infernal Blow might be even better at this, especially since we have Oro's. Got to try that out.

Pyre removes the corpse so I don't think this would work, unless you used cold to fire gem instead of pyre...

You wouldn't need Pyre if not using Ice Nova.
