" I suspect the Divine Shrine and lvl 85 probably tripped a lot of people up. Not everyone is an efficient leveler, and the instawhacks from Haast and his buddies disrupted a lot of progress.

The get X character(s) to Y level challenge is something that I look at to see if a league challenges are even worth bothering with. Personal grumble here - it is like a "full clear every area in the game in all difficulties twenty times" grind. Achievable and enjoyable aren't necessarily the same thing.
If the player wasn't in a guild or use global 710 they could easily go without seeing the shrine unless GGG tweaked it's appearance during flashback. I wish GGG had been able to fix the issues and leave Rampage in, as it was part of the crazy fun. The flashback league was definitely enjoyable. I'm a bit surprised it's as low as 22% for the helmet, as well.
Even casual play (2 hours weekdays, 4 hours weekends) should've had them done by week 3-ish. EDIT: Granted, I know quite a few people who didn't even go for the helmet, opting to use purchased mtx's instead. So doubtless that's a factor. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018. I'm part of the 38% (3/4). I would have went for all four pieces if I really wanted the headpiece, but I think the set looks great with:
or so I decided to take it easy til Darkshrines came out. |
