Seek the Apex!
The most exciting part of Darkshrine is the ability to get Mortal pieces. But they don't give these things away. In this video I spend about 10 minutes rolling 5 Viridian Jewels for Mine mods to use in a very high quantity corrupted Arid Lake map. To ensure I have enough shrines, I pay the 10 chaos and 10 vaal for Domination. One of my rare jewels only has 2 mods so I'm fully expecting to get Seek the Apex on the first Darkshrine... NOPE! Try again. So I try again and get a much worse disaster - Heart of Conflict! The third shrine is the one! Seek the Apex! I end up with 2 full sets of Mortal Pieces in the end. This is my second entry. I am posting a new post because the party of 4 deserves credit for the amazing group effort.
In a high roll Spring map with Domination, it was NightmarePreVaals, Vaal_Pandora, JoyfulJocie and myself - JohnRambozo_KaPow throwing down Darkshrine style. With an indepth knowledge of Darkshrine effects and a whole lot of luck or misfortune depending on your point of view, we threw everything we had into the shrines and got: * A Faint Smell of Corruption on the Wind * The Touch of the Damned Then after the ground was literally covered with weapons, we hit Never Discard a Weapon!
