2.2 Ascendancy "Please Go Into The Light" updated - Righteous Fire Totems Hierophant
Flame golem, in my experience, is just a little too weak to survive for long. If you get 2 levels and put points into some sort of fire damage or elemental damage nodes, you get the same 15% or 20% increased damage--but it's probably better to get defensive stats.
His 15%-20% increased damage is still another source of DPS, however. Try putting him into your 3-link Mace or Shield with Minion Life and Minion Elemental Resistance. |

Hey I got a question.
Do you socket your RF into soul mantle? A level 14 spell totem only has ~2,100 hp compared to the level 20 ~5300 even with the 50% bonus hp offered from soul mantle, it seems the hp wont compare at all. |

No, you benefit from the extra life by putting it elsewhere. The totem's maximum life is they biggest increase to damage, and it can have much more life than you. I think its best placed in a +1 to gems item. (Spell totem+RF+empower+inc burning/inc area/conc effect)
Also, technically you don't have to go ancestral bond as 2 RF totems are more than enough. Allowing selfcasting EE + curses. Also arc got extra chains. I'd prob prefer this over a 3rd searing bond totem but depends on personal setup/style. Except technically with searing bond buff can also have a SB totem for free... This build has become sommewhat viable, especially considering the increase in base area and all other buffs. Still a bit boring is its main con, but technically a ridiculously cheap build in terms of being budget. Soul mantle and doon cuebeyari/Lavianga so cheap. The empower is more expensive expensive choice, but in a +1 item it will give a massive 50% more to the base life (which affects all the rest) and even reduces the damage penalty. More life also means more survivability. Last edited by Drakkon1#0467 on Dec 13, 2015, 9:32:31 PM

Spell totem gem doesnt get +lev from empower. Just righteous fire do, which is usless coz RF gem level doesnt matter.
