Announcing the Five-week Darkshrine Events

I don't know if I'll be playing this. I feel slightly burned out at the moment. I might go at it rather casually.

However, I want to say that the idea behind this is pretty interesting. I am hoping the execution won't fall short as usual (i.e. put a great item in and get no rewards out of it 100% of the time). That said, this is the first league I have seen which sparks my interest in something like one and a half years. Kudos for that Jonathan.

Damn you guys are the best! So sweet to have a what sounds like a really fun stop-gap between leagues. It's obvious how much you guys care about your player base.

is it possible for the hardcore league to not award demigods to dead players in the top 20?

i think that kind of defeats the purpose of competition in a hardcore league. for example if im rank 21 and alive and there are 7 dead players ahead of me, why should they be awarded demigods? seems nonsensical to me and surprised there hasnt been more discussion of this from hardcore players because currently it is the same way in the flashback league.
