hmm, I collect rares for the chaos recipe and sell the others for alteration orbs to become orbs of fusing.

I need that currency to trade for items, so I really don't know when I should use a rare for a area and being that I don't know what rare items cause what effect when sacrificed, I don't know if it's worth it.

I can see how good players that are efficient at farming and are rich could enjoy this, but not me.

I don't really see this as a problem. Even as an average player ( Which I am). The amount of rare items you get far surpasses the amount you can use in chaos recipe.

And regarding normal vendor trades, sacrificing the odd rare every now and then isn't going to cut into your collection of alts and transmutes all that much.

The idea is nice but there are some obviouse flaws.

To play this league you most likely will need efficiently:
-Huge inventory space
-A 3rd party tool to check for matching items

This is stupid.

On a sidenote the most annoying thing for me playing POE right now is to identify and sort loot. It feels like i spend more time managing loot than slaying monsters. Shouldn'T be that way.

Adding another layer of analyzing loot is a very bad idea.

...You might want to look into considering Diablo 3 instead of this game, sir.
