Enhancing Poison

The game has reached the point of "kill everything as fast as possible before they kill you" especially in merciless and high-tier maps, I see little impact of poison even after adding a 100% dmg notable.

I have tried poison builds with good clear speed but nothing compared to most common builds.

Problem is that unless enemies are killed fast or in a hit or two before they can hit the player back, the player might end up taking a lot incoming damage while waiting (even if it is a second) for the enemies to die to poison.

I suggest that instead of just buffing poison's damage and poison related skills (which I will surely enjoy re-making my poison build), poison should automatically (or with support gem / passive skill) debuff the enemy's damage or attack capabilities, like a weaker blind and/or enfeeble, temp-chain slow)

TL:DR, Poison damage buff is awesome. Poison should debuff the enemy's damage output while poisoned.

The most fun build i ever played was an old viper strike/desecrate traps build. So fun but the damage died off as soon as i got to maps, sadly. So happy to hear chaos and poison is getting a rework.

So is there nothing that poison arrow will be able to use from the new mechanics not even the damage over time and chaos buffs?
I love to hear this. Time to reactivate my DoT Chaos/Bleeding Shadow. :)

Just out of curiosity: How will Viper Strike interact with the new support gem? Apply 2 poison stacks on one hit? Or will the "viper poison" still differ from other poison sources and apply 2 debuffs then?
