More Information About the Upcoming One-Month Event

3 months for the current leagues is too short... I thought you guys said you agreed with that. Instead they're even shorter? Very disappointing. July 10 - October 2 is not 3 months. It's 2 months and 3 weeks.

I'm just not sure what I'm supposed to do after this. One month leagues don't interest me at all. Since I only have a couple hours a day to play, I would not have nearly enough time to accomplish anything worthwhile. I guess I could take a month break, but I'd guess that if I stepped away from this game for a month, I probably wouldn't be coming back.

Too bad current leagues can't coincide with your new one month. I'd be fine with that.

I don't know. There are so many good games out recently that I haven't played because of POE, which I simply love. And there are many more coming out that I probably wouldn't have played, again because of POE.

I actually like the golden one, it reminds me so much of Saint Seiya.

I love the short Challenge leagues you feel like you learned something at the end. However would it be possible to set up two groups of challenges within the league. one group of challenges would get you one MTX set and the other group of challenges would get you a different MTX set, but you would have to pick one or the other and strive towards it. Just a thought. I will be doing the 1 month even though I am not crazy about the seraph set, I only have the blue one.

After previously playing in the leagues these mods originated in for 3 or more months, to me it seems very uninspired. These mods were already recycled into previous 1 month leagues, current map mods, Zana's map device, and a lot of the content is common in the core game. These league mods do one of two things, either add to the potential damage of mobs or provide a free loot explosion, so exciting. Combining these leagues together is something I can already do by rolling a map until I get ambush or blood lines or onslaught or anarchy, etc then adding a zana mod. Strangely enough I've never had any desire to ever do this just for the mixup/throwback effect.

I'll participate only because its the current league, I'm not enticed in the least with the proposed setup and would play the same amount if it was 1 month of the vanilla game. I would prefer something a little less recycled, even if it meant the characters went to the void after the 1 month was over.

I don't get this mentality. You're not forced to play hardcore, that's the objective of having 2 different events with the same prize, play whatever you enjoy the most and the one you want.

Also, again, if the HC and SC reward is different then everyone will feel that they are losing half the event for not playing the other event, just like the previous challenge leagues with a prize.

Stop this "I play HC, I'm better, give me better rewards"

I'm not asking for "better" rewards, I'm just asking for different ones. I also didn't say I was better so don't get your panties in a twist.

Hardcore is more difficult than softcore. Let's define difficulty as a measure of time.

For example I'm sure it takes the average player more time kill Malachai on hardcore than on softcore.

HC vs SC therefore is a different experience and should have different rewards(not better, ex red vs blue)

If this is too difficult for GGG to implement then they could do something like HC players only need to forfill 6/8 challenges instead of 8/8 of SC players. Though I don't like this option as much as the first.

These leagues are WAY too short. You keep saying you will make longer then turn around and do the opposite. After few months i am just getting my char where i want it. Seams like everything is geared around players that spend all day everyday on here. If that was the case then ya 3-4 months would be fine. Most of us have jobs and kids etc. Plz make these longer.

Also HC players you are not better then SC players and NO you dont deserve any different or better rewards. Big deal you play slower and have more time then the rest of us. I played D2 for 14 years HC ladder East. All i had was time then. If i had time i would DEF play HC. I dont want to feel like i am missing out by not playing. THX GGG for keeping prizes EQUAL.

Well I'm very happy with having the flashback leagues, I plan to play these a LOT! As for the prizes, I would have much preferred you drop the seraph set all together, and had guaranteed prizes at level threshold, however a lot of people wanted it this way, and hell, this is so much better than the red/blue seraph set's if you ask me, because at least we have SOME level threshold rewards. Also I hope that there is some good prizes for level thresholds, hopefully better than just stash tab bundles here and there... But regardless, I'm quite exited for these :D
