Share your Feedback on an Upcoming One-month Event!

I'd like to add that for people who think two weeks or even one week is better... I'd much prefer one month. It gives players a better chance to fully develop their characters. In some cases I think one week can be fine, but if you're going to have nicer/rarer prizes one month makes a lot of sense.

The trick is just keeping people engaged for the full month. If the league is fun and rewarding enough that shouldn't be too hard. For instance in the league with the armour, there wasn't much other reason to play it. Conversely, in the all mods league same thing. A combination of warbands/tempest with a great reward should cover both bases quite well.

Also, I'd like to reiterate that a guaranteed prize seems far better (even if it's nothing that special).

I need (NEED) Warbands items in Hardcore without paying 3ex per map. So Warbands+Tempest please :)

1 month free range bosses - The bosses are all out of their cages. The can spawn anywhere, at anytime even in each others rooms or taking the place of another boss. Who doesn't want to fight Merviel along side Daresso. Encountering Piety when you were expecting Hailrake. Map bosses being total out of line. "Lets run this map because the boss is easy, oh crap ....why is Dom in Gorge!!!" I think this would be an absolute riot and could lead to some glorious deaths. Double bossed Palace map with a little Malichai sandwiched in the middle anyone? Getting smashed by Vaal for breaking some eggs and picking on Rhoas! Even if you could not actually switch the bosses in the game progressions, just the thought of randomly encountering these bosses anywhere in the world would be awesome. Say goodbye to not paying attention while you are casually running through Ledge!
1 month Map mods active - All zones have random map mods on them. Pretty self explanitory but it would be fun. Once again it would make you pay attention while leveling. I think this would probably be best as each zone globally has random map mods the change every 10 minutes or so. If they were randomized locally and you didn't like the mods you would just open a new zone until you got "rolls" you liked

These two sound awesome, or even combined would be fun
Winner of the First Ever Cut-Throat Server Test, and Winner of the First Ever Cut-Throat League Event!
Hi

Event type:
I prefer a flashback event with random mod.

Player Goals:
Reaching the top of the ladder > it represent only an inexistent % of the community, generally always the same people.
Reaching certain level thresholds > Fair enought to me but not if it is a drawing (some people are bad with RNG)
Completing challenges > fine if it's not a Mtx set ...(some people don't like set and prefer to make his own set with different single mtx like exile in general)

Prizes:
I would like to see specific single MTX for reaching a goal so people have to focus on what they want.
Example: reach lvlx give an unique or a challenge give footprint and an other give weapon animation.
Différent reward for different kind of play so everyone could be happy and satisfied.
Stash are great of course :p and sry for my english, Soul22.
flashback
I think a flashback system would be a lot more fun and here's why:

Majority of players that are playing right now are already enjoying Tempest & Warbands. Whilst bringing those together might be fun, I don't think the mix is *that* exciting.

On the other hand, a lot of players (I don't have statistics for this, I am speaking from personal experience, taking into account my friends' PoE playtimes as well), missed a few leagues past 1.1/1.2 and came back for 2.0. So for those - a flashback league would be very fresh and extremely fun.
Stash tabs as rewards, please.

Flashback definitely.

MTXs set similar to the Red & Blue sets from the previous would be nice, maybe Green/Purple/Orange?

OR...OR... A Physical set of divination cards for top 10 from SC & HC

Oh snap you read my mind was just thinking this!
I for one would vote Flashback with some mtx prizes. Golden Seraph would definitely work or perhaps one of the newer sets with a color change? Blue/Ghostly Inferno, Red Demon, White Necrotic etc.

As for the Flashback league, using existing and previously existing challenge league mods you can simply have the schedule set up like you did before. An idea would be an Unstable Flashback league, where mods change from zone to zone and are only able to roll 3-4 leagues except for heightened instability where they can roll up to all mods at once. This lets you control the general difficulty while keeping every zone feeling like a unique map while leveling.

Additionally to Unstable Flashback, side areas can always be set to ALL previous league mods or a majority of them. Side areas with bosses can be cranked even further by forcing ghosts and difficult mods to be higher in number or be around those bosses. Typically a lot of people skip side quests or don't go into the one off extra areas. Make these extremely unique i.e (5+ Exiles, and 10+ Ghosts, + more previously used league mods randomized at high values). This creates insane offshoots that do not disturb progression by any player but create a unique experience for players to have the motivation to go into these rarely visited side areas and challenge their build to push it to the limits.

Other ideas for the name of the league:
Temporal Flux
Unstable Flashback
Malachai's Nightmare

Just some feedback :)

Thanks for your time,
-Grim
Tempest/Warbands league with challenges that give out Golden Seraph pieces similar to that one month with the two other seraph sets. I played more in that one month than almost any other in a long time. MTX prizes (good ones) are my favorite rewards. Making 3/4 of the set rather achievable and using the helmet as the prize for more serious players would be great.

Love you guys.

EDIT: OMG BLACK SERAPH FOR HARDCORE PLEASE!!

I'd like to stress also that the way you handled Red/Blue Seraph was PERFECT. The challenges took some time, but completing both sets was totally do-able for those of us with jobs. Because of the nature of MTX effects and their lack of effect on the economy, I believe this should be an area that really caters to the average player. Not to say that challenge effects like the Atziri helm can't happen, but fully achievable sets (Especially cool ones lke Seraph) for most players are definitely a win.
