4 challenges feels the best, tbh. "Random draw" was really disappointing.
I have multiple different armor sets (from sup packs), but those from races feel the best, because they are earned, and every time you pick it up again it reminds you of the good time you had trying to get it. Also, they give "freebie" players the feeling they are not left out in the cold, without anything "cool" to work with. If anything, I'd match certain awards with certain challenges, so even if players are no able to get them all, they can work towards ones they want the most. Even more, instead of 4, go for 6 challenges (or more), so there can be weapon MTX (nothing spectacular) to chose from, but make them harder, so players will have something to work on after they've gotten everything. Also, maybe a little off topic (but not completely!), but I'd love to see more "multiple" MTXs - little MTXes, which can be mixed together for some cool effects. Just like those "old" MTXes, where you could combine one with the other. Gives far more options to be creative, instead of buying one piece which will look all the same as other players MTXes. :P (But at the same time this would require the cap of MTXes on one item to be increased from 2). Why not complete off-topic? Because you could give those "little" MTXes (like, say, different kind of horns, "hair" effects, and so) to be mixed with those you can buy in the MTX shop. Those little MTXs would add this unique feel to the character, give more options to customize your character and give incentive to combine them with "regular" MTX, so you can wear both at the same time. Again, these could be little things like glow effect on rings, certain "little" additions to aura effects, and so on. While whole item sets feel great, I want to use my other MTXes with my race rewards, but I can't combine them with each other :(. PS. Sorry for the terrible grammar and style I'm using to explain what I mean. Not a native. :V Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance. Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge. Last edited by Perq#4049 on Sep 4, 2015, 7:53:03 AM

Personal preference towards the flashback type league mainly to have some diversity in game type again.
An idea for rewards could be the same points layout as race events where you can accumulate 1000 points and get items for intermediate amounts of points. The points can be rewarded through finishing top X overall or top X of your class etc. and also small amounts by completing each side quest and slaying each boss etc. This way the racers can gain big points in a challenging way whereas the more casual player can also accumulate points at their own pace to win items. |

Flashback!
Tempest is fun but Warbands is crap. Sorry. And MTX set! Last edited by WiseGuard#0800 on Sep 4, 2015, 7:55:23 AM

As someone in Warbands, I'd really like to play a Warbands/Tempest hybrid, just because Tempest seems so alluring. But for players already playing in Tempest, that would probably be the most boring 1 month ever for them. If I had my way, I'd do a flashback for HC and a Tempest/Warbands for SC. But, assuming that's off the table, flashback for both is probably the best way to go.
As far as prizes, I loved the HC/SC challenges. I also love the idea of that Golden Seraph set as the reward. How Fusings Work: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/38585/page/3#p1451934

As I missed the last flashback, I would like to see it be run again, as my guild mates seemed to have enjoyed it. Throwing warbands/tempest in would be good to do.
As far as prizes go, I found myself most active when a prize was guaranteed(The Seraph Sets); over reaching a prize pool tier at a chance to win, and would just stop at the tier I was most interested in(80+ tiers if I remember correctly just gave T-shirts, that's a boring reward...so I stopped at 70 for those). I would like to see a guaranteed prize if possible, similar to last time, just not sure it should be an Armour set, although it would be great for the newer players(or those who can't afford to invest in the game financially) who have yet to get any mtx. I just don't want to see it be another Seraph Set, perhaps some sort of rewards chest? For each challenge you complete you get a chest, like you have done in the past for promotions/holidays, each chest different? Covering a range on certain items you can get from it? Or simply have it so the chest are parts of the armour sets(helm, body, glove, boots), but they randomly come as different colors? The idea of being rainbow/mismatched sounds like fun. (Preferably done with a set other than Seraph, although I understand it's fairly easy to recolor. Perhaps the Vampire or Arcane Set would be good for this? IGN: Lil_Crimson

Flashback was amazing, one of the best/ most exciting league i played with poe. I also like the armor set as a reward, it helps keep people playing with a purpose. Something i think should be added is for guild leaders to create different levels in the guild. member and officer are the only two lvls. So once someone becomes a member there is nothing exciting after that. Would be nice to have 2 or more levels.

Warbands + Tempest would be great. Maybe adding some flashback mods on weekends would be cool too.
For the rewards, honnestly, no more Seraph sets, please... I've always thought it was waaaaaaay too clean and shiny for Path of Exile. And making it red, blue, purple, golden or, I don't know... pink maybe, make it even worse... unless you want to see one day someone with a Rainbow Seraph armor set (Oh ! It could become a new achievement). I know designing a new armor set is a long and hard work but I think it would attract a lot more people if you could reward us with a really exclusive MTX, I mean a new one on each one-month event. It doesn't matter if you keep on using existing ones as a base, but you should just slightly modify it... My first idea would be (if you really want it to be a Seraph-based set) something like a "Fallen Seraph armor set", dark, dirty, a bit broken and... badass. |

I'd go for perma wb + tempest and rotating old mods. Also, why not enable for league specific drops while on them? Also, as rewards, go for Mtx. I had the crappiest moment in hc challenge to get the red set (rolled 4 toons) but i love the set.
I would suggest not getting hardcore events. Or do a hardcore event that doesnt involve a high level char to do so. Cuz too much killing stuff goin on :P. And in top of that, do reward top racers with something special. Last edited by arherter#3366 on Sep 4, 2015, 8:08:16 AM
