" You're still 10 points away from the final tree so you'll definitely see some good improvements soon. Your first step is either the Disembowelling cluster for a massive dps gain, or the scion life wheel for more life. " Yeah try to drop it and see how you go. If you feel mana sustain is too low you can always invest 1 point or get some mana leech in jewellery. " You can swap them out for the damage nodes later when you have spare regrets. Will of Blades is quite good. " The important thing is knowing you'll need to practise the run. It took me about 10 tries to kill her the first time and many more to be able to do it deathless. Watch vids, read about the various bosses, gather 10+ sets, and be prepared for many deaths and failures along the way. When you have mastered the timing and and procedures, you can pretty much do it in your sleep with any character. I have killed her with a 30k RT reave character. So many strikes within one breath.
But only one strike needed, for certain death. |

I've been thinking about bino's as opposed to swords for a bit now. Why do you go by marauder instead of deep into shadow?
I would have thought something like this would be far stronger (114pt tree like yours in OP): https://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAwQAuR0V7Irw6UbKkITZR369NmVNvqdgQWNwC8FXl0Mx2sFM_3TtTioFLVuvI9MNjY9gbyeHdhX2_MWaauOfYnnuDrcXSn0ABqOKgOEj9rGz4l5Nko19DHMbrTiWMHyVZgSxUUcDh3sUjb_nVNN-BbXUIyT9AF59dcLs_94Zjv66tMXtg2Ks2-cILmyMRwadqvLh2HY2PWNDuT5W9etjrGbbbrVIES8s4ZfQ1EJ9446Kpn-Eb-1Bdf0WvyaVYeJVS4w2idNwUioLXfIOSBGWkBsHHnBWlS6aE_DV29RJUW1s7LCMC7l8 I would also be putting A. mark on blasphemy ... massive boost + easily cap crit and you can use facebreaker's instead of maligaro's... Food for thought? |

" Yes your tree is actually very good. 500 less life than mine but a lot stronger dps. My tree was developed for flexibility. I use the same tree for other skills like dual strike, cyclone, frost blades, etc. So I wanted to be able to use any skill and any weapon, and with minimal regrets. You'll notice that the only dagger specific cluster is Adder's Touch. Without this cluster, i can use any weapon. It's great for levelling up. In 2.2, when i move this build over to shadow for the assassin subclass, the tree may be more similar to yours So many strikes within one breath.

Regarding Ascendancy:
I've been doing some calculations to work out how much crit chance i will need in the Shadow Assassin tree. Currently, this character has: 9.9% Bino base crit (max roll) 91.08% chance with full charges the total crit chance from tree and gear is 920% of this, 200% comes from charges, 470% comes from the tree, this leaves 250% from items. In Ascendancy, the plan is to have 5 charges and The Deadly Infusion node gives +0.5% to base crit chance per pc, so the 9.9% chance from Bino becomes 12.4%. To get 95% crit chance with a 12.4% base, you will need 760% on tree and gear. From this 760%, 250% is from power charges (5x pc) and 250% from gear, this leaves 260% required on the tree. This means i only require half the crit chance on the tree in Ascendancy compared to what i have now. And if you consider the number of crit nodes this frees up and to be able to put those nodes into things, you can see how great the Deadly Infusion node really is. This leaves me to wonder what changes we'll see in the expansion? How will crit be balanced against the Assassin subclass? So many strikes within one breath.

hey guys progress from last post lvl 86 now with 4752hp just killed atziri for the first time ever. with 1 portal left bricked about 4 sets b4 i got it down. my tree changed from last time too i dropped assasination for a jewel socket finished the disemboweling cluster and picked up a few hp nodes from scion.
my 6l setup is reave, added fire, inc crit dmg, multistrike melee phys and inc aoe i swapped out aoe for conc on the bosses cept trio. i think i dropped about 10k dmg mayb a bit less but i had to fill in the int/resists in the jewel nodes thx for an awesome and fun build! |

" Thanks for sharing and congrats on the kill. After a few more tries, you'll definitely get the hang of it and be able to kill her deathless.
On a side note
I decided to level this character up to 94 by grinding maps solo. I used the following setup: The idea is have pure defences and rely on the OP weapon, and the insta-heal from Acuity to carry the rest. The Soul Taker allows 100% of mana reservation. Auras: hatred + blasphemy (am) + enlighten (lvl4) aa + enlighten (lvl3) 97% reservation The combination of lightning coil, aa, taste of hate and fortify gives plenty of physical reduction, and Rat's Nest doesn't increased damage taken as well. 162k dps with full charges, 192k with taste. Compared to full dps mode with abyssus and deaths hand, the clear is around 30secs slower, but i hardly need to use flasks and i can play more aggressively. Without doubt, the most stable character i've ever played. So many strikes within one breath.
