I just read all 187 Questions and I understand like all of them. Cool ideas, questions to past stuff, current game and future plans. But there's one question i just don't understand.

This is something we've been discussing internally, but it's a huge task. We need to continue to support DirectX 9 because of the Windows XP users, so a port to DX11 would be an optional version that people with more recent operating systems can use.

Q:Is it intentional that some map bosses are still borderline overpowered and almost undoable when you are in the level range appropriate for the map? I think of things like the museum triple boss or Orchard. Do you plan on rebalancing them?

A:Players asked for challenging map bosses. We completely agree and want a variety of experiences in maps. Some are harder than others. We don't like the idea of rebalancing everything down to be the same.

Yeah but the problem is getting one shot randomly isnt a challenge nor is it a challenge to just have no choice but to skip because the risk is not worth the reward anyway! Getting one shot no matter what defenses you stack or how powerful your build/gear is NOT challenging... Its frustrating!
Or is it actually intended for me to run a Coil+Taste of Hate on every build i want to map with?

Q:What is the stance on things like potion macro usage, and the punishment(if any) for using them...and other cheats/hacks. I have reported a few now with video evidence and nothing seems to get done...other than I got a forum warning for my trouble.

A:You're not allowed to use flask macros or other third-party software. People lose their accounts over this every week. Reports are appreciated - though they don't always result in banning because we want to be very sure before we ban someone based on something that we haven't detected with very reliable means.

Yeah well im pretty sure the Video of the guy who recently had his account locked after his Vod got posted to Reddit of him CLEARLY using an automated Logout based on his life hitting a certain threshold while he was playing around with his inventory standing in desecrated ground was pretty solid evidence!

Of course hes unlocked and back streaming so i guess even video evidence isnt good enough! Then again its comes as no surprise since its not the first time ive personally seen someone streaming themselves using Maphacks and/or engaging in activity against the TOS! The worst of which is some of the VERY Obvious RMT activities of some!

Q:Will Master Mods have price changes again now that people are aware of them?

A:I'd expect changes, but probably at the end of the current leagues.

Since its no longer a secret and now that it can actually benefit the ENTIRE community instead of only a few this will defiantly need to be changed so only the top players and trade manipulators can use it once again! We certainly cant have EVERYONE be able to craft decent items for themselves!

I dont understand why it seems so necessary to always have the ball in people who do nothing but trade all days court while the people who play have to go with nothing or FORCED into trading just to do anything! Actually crafting and finding your gear is so much more fun! Dont get me wrong Trade certainly has its place and its a necessary part of the game and i fully understand that but it seems like trading is the ONLY way and if you dont like to trade then your only screwing yourself!
I would much rather see a balance of all 3 Trade, Crafting, and Looting! Maybe thats just easier said than done!


Interesting read non the less! Some questions were actually really good! Others was just cool but useless information to learn! Thanks Chris for taking the time out for this! Even if im aggravated about certain aspects, bugs, and balance issues ive had since this patch its still alot of work you guys put in!

Oh and that "Build a Box around them" Comment.... good thing i wasnt drinking anything when i read that!

Shout out to all the peeps who asked all the silly irrelivent questions so Chris would have have plenty of excuses not to answer ones that actually had to do with the game.
