How to find the right direction while leveling [work in progress]
Hiya guys!
So alot of new people are coming into this game at the moment and i felt like we could help them out alot by telling them our little secrets on how to find the right way in the areas one has to level through. i am pretty sure i dont know all of those little tricks, so i would like your guys help to make a "trick"-collection. How to help out: take a screenshot of the "hint" and tell people in which area this can be found and where it leads to. Make sure your Map Transparency is not too low if you wanna show something via map. Thanks to everybody who is helping!!

General rule --- PoE is "Path of Perimeter"
everything usually connects on the outer edge so follow a wall/side until you find it. Sins 1 - looking for stairwell (fake stairwells have good blue mobs) Sins 2 - I follow the right wall to get to Fidelitas Slums - head as far "out" as you can to find Crema Crema - follow a wall until you find Piety Sewers - going from 1 to 2 a path usually leads up to the wp. Ebony - go up to wp, all the way up to General and Lunaris entrance. From wp go right to Imp Garden Imp Garden - follow road to wp, take road left and up to library, down right then up right to door Act 1 Prison - Path to Brutus in the final area - follow the blood on the ground. Act 2 Riverways - torch marker / flat stone path to Oak. Western Forest - torch marker / flat stone path to Alira Western Forest - cobwebs on tree show where spider area is found |

" unfortnately with the 2.0 changes this video is somewhat outdated. some of those tipps still work while others dont, since areas / etc got moved around, changed or even deleted. ☆*:.。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆ Last edited by Milani#4424 on Aug 18, 2015, 3:02:53 AM

Some additions:
Act 1: Mud Flats: The Rhoa nests are connected by water streams. Act 2: Ancient Pyramid: Stairways up are at the opposite corner from the entrance but slightly to the center (remember, we are climbing a pyramid). Act 3: Lunaris 2: Push for the outside as much as possible, always take stairs upwards. At the end of the labyrinth stage, the side of the stairs with only one cart leads to the golden door. Upper Sceptre: Stairways are in the corners. At the third floor, head for the center and then north to get to the roof. |
|
Act 3: Crematorium is always on the farthest, most obnoxious side from the zone entrance via City of Sarn, sewers is always rather near the entrance (relatively believable city planning).
Act 4: Belly of the beast is shaped like intestine, follow it out to fight the asshole in-person. IGN: Sexy_Batman Brag_Ironballs Lady_Jaya_Ballard Orbok_Meatgod Two_Open_Sockets

to go to crematorium: When you enter, you have a choice to go left or right. Always follow the side with the stairs leading down and keep going in that direction
