idk why but i still not make any dps with the single target gems:



with the aoe gems all good but have hard issues with bosses and rare mobs..:

your gems are still very low level. I personally got quality EA and chance to ignite to make it better. You mainly rely on the ignite damage, and it seems to do heaps when it procs.

If you single dmg still sucks use aoe. Drag the boss into a corner or a wall and stack arrows in one place so multiple explosions damage the boss.

Yes, but its actually -50% fire resist, I'm not sure if you hit them with both cold and lightning it will give -100% though.

I am a bit confused. So I assume if i had Adds # - # cold damage to attacks on my gloves, it will mean i will get -50fire and -50lightning resistance on monsters. What if i had both adds fire and adds cold damage to attacks like you do on that gloves in the guide?

Does that mean only lightning is -50%? While cold and fire are +25%?

So is best scenario to avoid fire damage on gloves and get both or one of cold/lightning damage to attacks?

EDIT: This is what it saids on POE gamepedia
"If you hit an enemy with two different elements at the same time it will give -50% Resistance to third element and +25% to both elements used".

So I assume having one or both of cold/lightning is fine, as long as I get the -50% on fire resistances.

How is Explosive Arrow at endgame like lvl 80 maps?

That's correct, you have to avoid added fire damage on equipment.

I'm lvl 78 now and doing _really_ good. Single target is no issue at all, groups even less. I'm currently at ~4.5k life and predict I'll have ~6k by the time I'm lvl 90. The Blood Dance provides a ton of health regen, I also lucked out with corrupted Hyrri's Bite and I'm able to use LMP instead of GMP in my aoe setup to get higher damage. With so many endurance charges and the movement + attack speed the build feels very safe to play.

My tree at 78 (pretty much finished, only health nodes left):



Planned tree at 91 (realistically achievable on sc). I didn't want to waste so many points pathing to Blast Radius and Heart of Flame and going this route allows me to finish my build pretty early. Notable points are: 6 jewel sockets for lots of customization and 5 endurance charges.

Jewels are mostly Fire damage / Area damage / Damage / + good secondary stats where I was able to get them.

Things I'm considering (would require dropping about 4-8 points of health nodes:

- going for whispers of Doom
- getting another jewel socket below scion wheel
- getting explosive impact

I find CoH / Flammability to work best:


Bosses just put on CE and CtI instead of CoH / Flammability.


Frost wall works. Any tough rare, just pop a wall and go to town on it. The rare / boss will drop.


I also use Vaal Summon Skellies. Works great on bosses.
