Do players play POE after leagues end?

I usually do one character per temp league till rip. Then I wind up back playing perm hc, which actually I've put a lot more time into than anywhere else. It's pretty quiet but does have its regulars.
In my experience standard is always packed, league or no league. We tested it extensively

I play when I can since i'm not in school anymore. Like couldnt even start this league until a week in. Taking two weeks vacation in Chile to surf starting aug 1st doubt they have internet and i doubt even more ill want to use it haha. So yeah I play a lot of standard too. Didnt even play last league (torment).
