[2.0] Whispering Ice + CI + High int. Safe and very strong

Sorry for the late reply. I think a full unique build could be pretty good for standard. I would use the following items then:

The Vertex
2x Perandus Signet
Astramentis
Mutewind Whispersteps Serpentscale Boots (Warbands unique)
Either shavronne's wrappings for low life or some generic high energy shield rare chest
Gloves - ideal would be Atziri's but they might be hard to get. In that case I would just go with whatever, likely a rare with a lot of resists
Belt would be bated breath or Auxium

I'll update this build once I can merge my items with my standard stuff, so I can try it out with legacy perandus and some crazy stuff.

I see that life regen nodes are actually all quite nearby.
ZO with those nodes would provide you at least with constant 1000 ES regen per sec. I think this will solve a lot of problem.

I think there was reflect mobs in the video. I had purity of ice and a cold flask at hand

How would you incorporate a 6 link high es chest into this build?

Is this still viable ?

After changes, maybe I should use "Increased duration" instead of Cold Penetration ?

Right, one of these dropped for me the other day- thinking about building around it, but not sure what (if anything) has changed since this guide came out months ago.
