Dualwielding shields please

Hmm... well, it's unique, if nothing else. I suppose someone could make use of this if the shields had spikes or strategically placed blades and sword breakers on the rims. A melee fighter is trained to use every tool at his disposal; still, fighting with two shields is not all that common for a number of practical reasons. Let's have spears, crossbows and other alternative weapons first, I say.
Those who cannot remember the past, are condemned to repeat it.

What is that picture supposed to prove?

"If you can't convince one person who at one point in time thought it would be cool"

And yet there's artwork all over the place of dual-wield shieled users.
Crizaig is very obviously being intentionally obtuse. It's best to just stop replying to the guy, since all he'll do is ignore your post and reply with something absurd for a laugh.

The idea that "I will not work in an ARPG" is simply a lack of imagination.

There is a rather successful build in Diablo 2 called the Smiter. It's basicly a Paladin using the Smite ability. That ability is basicly a shield bash. Now this build works because of a mecanic called Crushing blow but that's not the point. The point is that another popular ARPG made a very good build based on using a Shield as a weapon. There was no option for dual wielding a shield in D2 but i'm positive that the Smiter build would of greatly benefited from it.

Captain America uses a shield as weapon to great effect, image if he used 2 of them!
^ See?

It's not my fault you can't bring up a valid reason why this should be implemented.

Because it appears a portion of the player base would like the option, keeping them in the game longer, and perhaps generating revenue from those players.

Same reason anything is in a game.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll go play my dual-dagger frost nova templar who like to whirling strike everywhere.

All 5 of them?

Wrong, it wouldn't piss me off because I have the choice not to play as a dual shield wielding mongoloid.

Crizaig, stop shitting all over the thread. I can understand that some might not think that this is a good passive to have, but for some reason you seem to have a personal vendetta against dualwielding shields. Good criticism is absolutely perfect to have, you just flame.
