[Outdated] Zivko's CI Chaos Incinerate build - 200k dps / 10 000 ES

Hi, i would like to try your build. When you offer to switch to CI? Or just at high levels, when i buy my gear, to use 100% chaos dmg?

When you have good gear (at least 5-6k ES before you switch to ci) and do ~10-12k tooltip damage.
It was possible to do it with less damage before, but incinerate was nerfed a lot and you need a lot higher tooltip dps to leech enough that you dont need life flasks anymore.

Do not switch unless you already have both Vaal Pact and Ghost Reaver and before lvl 68, thats the level you need for atziri's promise and its the life-flask-replacement for this build, you cannot play this build as ci without that flask.

Also, if this is your first time playing the build, i strongly suggest you do not switch to ci without 5L mantle in which you need to put Incinerate + LMP + controlled destruction + void manipulation + Life Leech. You will also need 3x elreon jewellery (2 rings and an amulet) to support 5L incinerate without mana issues.
Chayula is mandatory item for this build once you hit mid-tier maps, but for lower level maps, just taking stun avoidance while casting nodes in witch area is enough (Practical Application and Nimbleness clusters). Once you sort mana issues and are able to support 5L incinerate without amulet, switch elreon amulet with chayula.

Now i understand that this build never uses fire damage passives but why?Doesn't fire converted damage scale better than scaling the post converted choas damage given the big boosts to fire on the gear, or is it a case of not enough skill points so they were sacrified.

So the idea behind using slower projectiles is that they will hit the same mob multiple times?

Hey, where i could personally improve? Sitting at 11k tooltip dps with 5L at 77lvl.. 1 Jewel and not all chaos/phys nodes takes, but feeling like can improve just ES, which is already at 7.5k with discipline 18 lvl.. Also leveling LMP and Incinerate 20% on second hand too, but low lvl's

You have pretty good stats for a lvl 77 char. You should upgrade shield and helm, aim for 350+ES on those. And dont relevel incinerate once it hits lvl 20, put every gcp you find into it until you get it to 20%.

From this point on take as man chaos nodes as you can because they scale both incinerate and poison and you'll benefit the most from them.
Also, since void manipulation scales both poison and incinerate its better then controlled destruction on a 5L. You'll have lower dmg on tooltip, but will deal a lot more poison damage.

It gives me close to 5k dmg compared to reduced mana (23.8k with reduced mana compared to 28.4k with empower lvl 3). I cant sustain incinerate on mana with empower thou.

thank you, i thought that, thats bad because i have empo lvl 4 and will have no use for it, is Void Manipulation / Controlled Destruction really better than empower lvl 4? and its not really possible to run incinerate with three -8 mana cost jewelery? only at 40+ now will test soon when i get on 65, got 6L [2G2R2B] already... so i will have to use Incinerate with Void Manipulation /LMP/Void/reduced mana and LL
