It wont become commonplace to run fragments because it won't take many ppl doing it before it's going to be very hard finding fragments, and expensive.

It is a bit risky, but have you considered corrupting the maps to get some fragments and possibly a higher level or 8 mods?

Yea, i did. The two 78+ maps i didn't zana mod was because ihad corrupted them.. i forgot to link them but they didn't really roll well when corrupted (was the two worst rolled 78's i corrupted).

But.. in the first place you need to roll them right before corrupt. Second, if you do get a corrupt reroll, on average it is probably not gonna be much better than a well chaosed map is on average. Also corrupted maps consumes additional 8 vaal orb to zana mod, so you lose potential 32% quant because you really dont wanna do that.

But if you don't zana mod it becomes more attractive, just like i did on 77 maps.

I ran 25 x 78 maps, resulting in 6 x 79 maps. So similarish results to yours.

I've found Vaaling a really good strategy in certain situations. Until 2.0 I never really had to bother.
