Testing as feedback: Ran shown maps and results are in now.

So guys, i wanted to run some maps for you, while this is only a small samplesize i just felt like wasting some currency for fun here.

Results are in, post 3.



(linked two of the last because i had another i forgot to link just as good except it was a springs map)



Ran all except 2 78+maps with zana onslaught.
Ran all 78+ with 3 fragments.
Number of +1 maps = 5
number of +2 = 0.
Every single strongbox rolled with 3 magic packs, except 1 arcanist.
2 zana 78 which gave one 76 and one 73 in total.
Crashed 2 maps. One on arcanist with 3 magic packs and lost that + maybe 1/9 of map, and the other crashed at the boss with the map cleared.
All bosses killed except the one my map crashed on.
No bosses dropped maps at or above their level, they all dropped lower if they dropped at all.

So just so you get the picture, most of the 78+ maps were 155-175 quantity after fragments and domination. I spent maybe 8-13 exalts in total on fixing the maps, zana mods etc. A level that is hard to sustain even if taking a rather big fee in publics.

So i am almost done..

Look i ran into a very fun map here. Gonna do it after next map(after i've dinged:P)

Alright, the results are in. In brackets around are numbers i started with.

Started with

79: 4
78: 9
77: 13

And obtained.

80: 1
79: 4
78: 8
77: 12
76: 13
75: 7
68-74: 31

Keep in mind it is not sustainable to run maps this well rolled. If you are in a group, it may be possible.

werd. I ran 18 78s got none 78 or 79 back all over 100%. saving the rest of my map till the fix this bullshit.

78 is mid maps now. w/o the mid map return. terrible terrible design.

In terms of whether the currency is sustainable, that's at least an interesting point.

I guess yea, if you are good enough at analyzing.

Besides. Most cries or whatever are based on those who are receiving bad rng. In contrast i wanted to offer completely random rng which paints a better picture than the unlucky person that comes here to cry.

So the conclusion is it takes an investment of a dozen Exalts per map to sustain high level map drops?

Pretty much 12-20 chaos per map to roll it really well i'd say. That includes chisels, fragments, and zana fees.

Even then you should probably not expect to maintain entirely, and will end up around 76-80 or so most of the time. That's how i feel right now. If you invest regular levels maybe you'll drop down 3-4 levels.

Ah I see, you spent a dozen Exalts on the entire project, not on each map. Still, 10-20 Chaos per map is a lot of Chaos recipe farming.

Well if you break it down.. public maps say you ask 3 chaos for each map you could get 15 chaos right there for each map.. but finding that many fragments? good luck :P
