Emberwake, Event 101: Malachai Kill

The only qq that I'll qq is that I could not get a 4-link. But it turns out Malachai is a puppydog now anyway.

EDIT: oh wait, I need to qq about sidequests too! 1 mob went afk in Catacombs so I lost that one. Also, no act 4 sidequest points. OK there done.

I wasn't far behind first fairgraves but i couldn't make it in time. also ran right past the den but i was too slow ... later on i managed to get first fixture of fate though :D

Dang, was so nervous over the malachai fight i had to use the bathroom before entering the fight D:
Very well, made it to top 20. Happy with that.

actually got pretty lucky gear wise, hands were sweating through most of late act 4, but didn't really have any trouble.

Wow, over 4 hours in and still only one ranger has completed the race? I guess act 4 is tough enough without having to do it with a leveling ranger.

Oh well, just glad I actually finished with my character...I was way too underleveled for all the Kaom stuff, and I'm glad I took some time to farm it a bit and get xp.

Got 24th place, 6th Templar ._.; I have to get more experience with this I don't even know how guys like Helman even get to the Harvest in under 2 and a half hours. I didn't get movement speed boots, I didn't get a 4L and I used freezing pulse + flame totem. I guess I have to change it a bit maybe make a more melee type of build Idk. I would've done it for sure under 3 hours on a duelist. I'm surprised I needed an hour more while I was on Kaom's path to kill Malachai. Sounds like something I could've done in 30 minutes (kill Kaom, Daresso, Harvest). But then I still would've needed like 10 minutes to kill Malachai, I think I was worrying too much about resistances because I feared Malachai would instantly kill my 1k hp character.

She's so easy as well. Just stand in her melee range and she uses lightning tendrils that does no damage I had 55% lightning resistance and she didn't get me below 85%

You should've went for Daresso's area, monsters have less fire resistance there (faster killing) and are more packed overall.

Also should've used flameblast for bosses I think, 10 charged flameblast is very fast, and every time Malachai portals to you, you can charge it to 10 on him.
