mods that affect your attack are attack mods, here you got some attack mods

Flat elemental damage,weapon elemental damage and %increased phys damage



Mods that affect your spells are caster mods

spell damage,cast speed


And you got mods that are not attack or caster

resistances


Its sometimes really hard to know and a list isn't available.
