You need the 1st passive point going toward champion of the cause, the last res point is gained from aura effectiveness.

Mate you should use Handbrake to compress your videos, it will reduce the size SIGNIFICANTLY. It's tailor-made for YouTube videos and it made my life so much easier since I suffer from the 'slow upload' illness just like you.
EDIT: Note that Handbrake is also free.

Simple instructions:
1) Install it.
2) When you add a video to Handbrake that you want to compress tick the "Web Optimized" box.
3) You're good to go, compress away!

I can explain in more detail regarding some further tweaks, but for POE videos these 'settings' will be what you want in 99.99% of cases for 1080p videos.

Additionally, what software do you use for capturing videos? If you have a high-end PC like me you probably won't notice FPS differences no matter which application you use, but still there's the issue of file size.
I use Bandicam solely because of this. Very good initial compression rate vs. quality. On top of that, in case you do not have a high-end PC, Bandicam will also have the least impact on your FPS compared to virtually any other piece of video-capturing software out there.
It's not free, but that's why torr*cough*ent sites are there for :D I can help you pick the version, find codecs (though, for POE, default codecs are fine) and set it all up if needed. Just PM me if you need help with this.

Last, but definitely not least, congrats on your Uber kills. It's always nice to see the build panned out 100% for other players.

I spent a lot of alterations as well in standard trying to craft those mods. But never got them. Although while Alt-spamming, everytime I did hit something good, I stopped n regal'd. Sold a couple 30c/1ex jewels that way and managed to make up for the crafting expenditure.

Btw, as for jewels, do we need esonhit+life AND damage mods to be able to comfortably do uber? I've only managed to get the esonhit+life jewels so far and they have no useful dmg mods on them

I'll keep handbrake in mind! Atm I'm just using Shadowplay + Windows Movie Maker. Unfortunately not high end (i5 + GTX 960), but it seems just enough to run Mjölner :)

I did the same and in the long run I came out on top. Must've sold dozens of good jewels ranging from 1 - 4exa while trying to roll my own ESoH/Life%.

As for your question, you most certainly don't need damage MODs to be able to do Uber. Your survivability will be virtually the same with just ESoH + Life% on jewels. Of all the damage MODs I'd say that Attack Speed is the only one that significantly improves quality of life/survivability, while the rest simply shorten the fights.

Definitely give it a go :D Just compress one of your 3gb videos and compare the video quality, and size of the compressed vs. uncompressed video.
I'm not sure about Windows Movie Maker's features and in what way it impacts videos once you edit them.

I personally use PowerDirector as it can pump out custom bit-rates when videos are saved, meaning that it can match Handbrake's bit-rate compression almost 100%.
So if you skip on Bandicam, my suggestion is to use Shadowplay, then Windows Movie Maker to edit, and then compress the edited files with Handbrake in the end, just to be sure nothing gets screwed up.
