Im pretty sure point blank only applies to attacks not spells since it would be very op if it did. I hope discharge isnt nerfed yet again.

No indication that discharge is getting nerfed. Just wild speculation which honestly seems to be founded on nothing.

i´m can't get those +1 to gems voidbringers (60+ tries in flashback) but got instead.
Now i'm wondering if it´s maybe an alternative to get alpha´s howl for the +2 aura´s , loosing some armour and attack speed and most huting chaos res. But therefore i get easy +5 max res and additionally the elemental weakness.
Any idea´s on that ?
maybe someone else had this question but 50 pages´s are a lot to read :)

i too ( as like many others when you read this thread ) are struggling to get the +1 voids

there are other options but that 1% the +1 voids gives is like 50% less damage incoming ( from what i understand )

i tried it with alphas now and it feels better as i thought so by now its a good solutuion for me, even it was a bit hard to get the right colours on helmet and gloves i finally got them.
There are some days left in flashback event maybe i manage to get the voidbringers maybe not :)

For me it looks better with the helmet cause no manareg nodes are needed and additionally getting the +5 res , the extra cold res saves one item slot with cold res so i managed to get 28 chaos res in there so the lost res doesn't hurt anymore.

One thing you can do is use alphas and a lvl 4 enlighten or 2 lvl 3 enlightens and use herald of thunder with curse on hit or arctic armour, i run this setup for uber in standard, and dont need to use a granite flask for uber i use an iron quicksilver instead so my move speed is always way up for double flameblast. You will need to spec into all the aura nodes so 3 more passives.

Do you guys hit capped res without the use of flasks? I'm having a little trouble hitting it.

No trouble hitting the cap here mate. Flasks are there to keep up on 99% FR and LR though.

What about int/str through the MOM/ES skill tree? Seems a bit harder than the other 2 versions.
