i have a few questions i had a witch at level Low life decided to go life based with kings guard. i can send you my skill tree so you can look at it. I chose to use a marter as he had a full free respect and was level 82 i chose option 3 on your guild. i can also list what my stuff is raw ( as in no auras on as i can only run a few because not enough mana. i know i need to fix glove to different colors have ran out of chroms going to use faster attcks and haste, leap and life leach.

Here is the math: Example 1: both purities with empower You need 22% mana reduction from the tree, and all of your auras need to be supported by lvl 3 enlighten Example 2: Both purities no empower you need 10% reduced mana from the tree and all of your auras need to be supported by lvl 3 enlighten theese are your two options uintill you get a +1 voidbringer =) i not have a enlighten lvl 3 but i will get one if that is the problem. " i dont know the exact numbers. but i can do it with ease. 40 k armor, 4 endurance charges, EB/MOM, chaos golem, enfeeble, 5.3 k hp 1 k ES. after his smash i usually have like 2.5 k health left |

just to recap the same info i sent to him when i tested 4 times the smash with no sucess. my stats at the time of test are: CI 11.7 k ES 24 ARmour (with Det would have been 37k) 92 fire 88 cold 93 lightning res Chaos golem Enfeeble lvl 20 on boss with 20% increased effectivness of curses from tree. (making boss innate curse resistance drop from 60% to 40%) at the time of test i did not use determination which i should have (first of all i forgot, and i would have to grab a pair of +1 rainbows, reduced mana nodes and plug reduced mana jewel to pull off the aura cost of disc, POF, Det) i gave it a shot with Saffells Frame as well just in case. stats were: 9.7k ES 97 fire 93 cold 98 light res rest is same. i used for portals to try and tank it with no sucess, then i killed him by dodging the smash and just facetank second phase. i guess i could also have taken off discharge to see if i can survive with full end charges.. if anyone has more info on smash and what kind of damage type it has, i would appreciate it. maybe he has penetration or something like that? really cant tell. next time i wimm try with higher AR and i could also respec some more ES. i forgot to pop vaal discipline this time to see if extra es buffer would help... anyway, good luck with your test! " He does 50/50 phys/fire atleast. thats a start. So reaching 99% resist is prefered. As for what me and krux have theorized, he is gonna be at around 110 k Armor, probably like 8-8.5 k effective health, and boss will be enfeebled. Maby i should spec into some curse effectiveness to aid him there... not a bad idea. he is also gonna have 4 endurance charges, chaos golem, the 4% from Soul of Steel and fortify. Is the Armor/Life build UBER viable without the +1 Voidbringer?

" Yes, all it does ist just giving +1 max res (well, that's huge) ... but OP also uses Legacy Saffell's which you don't have in a new League for example - so you may not achieve his values anyway. For Atziri you could just drop Grace and use Empower for Purities. Or use Alpha's with lvl 21 Purities (which costs you Movement and Attack Speed) which is probably the easiest variant. Personally I find the trio much more harassing than Atziri itself. /Edit: @OP: Wouldn't it be better to have the Staunching suffix for the flask NOT on the Life flask? That way you will most probably have a longer immunity effect while killing Corrupting Blood mobs - as the Life flask ceases to work as soon as Life is full (so you don't have to hit that flask too often, could make a difference on non-Legacy-Mjölner which has a lot less trigger chance which means flasks are not refilling as fast - still fast, but better be on the safe side). I've been Leveling a Templar (just lose basically 2% additional damage, wich is not that much) using your life armor tree, with some little adjustments before respeccing without regrets, and its rather easy to level up. So i though about doing a guide so you could help ppl out if they have no high level reseted chars, or dont wanna spend the regrets.

Basically usual Facebreakers build, get physical jewelry and its all set for normal and cruel (my dps at the end of normal was about 6k wich is basically more than other builds at merciless). My jewelry:

I really didnt care much about res on equipment as the trees get some res to help in that department, after merciless you can respec or just continue to use facebreakers till you get lvl 75, wich is the bare minimum beast mode. Start with anything, get 2 good unique lvl 1 weapon and dual wield till you can use a facebreaker with anything you want, it will be a breeze anyway. After you get your punching gloves (even the non legacy ones will be doing near 5k dps at end of normal), just use Infernal Blow until you could use Ice Crash, then go with Ice Crash until Mjolner... The equipment i am using shows The linked gems but you can adapt it to your needs. Leveling Skill Tree

40 Skill Points – At end of normal you can get some Res first But start of cruel is easy without capped Res. 60 Skill Points 77 Skill Points – Maybe it is best to just stay at facebreakers till 75 end of merciless and lvl 75 though. This is as soon as possible to use Mjolner, romira, saffell, voll’s devotion, voidbringer and Kingsguard (No Devoto’s Devotion at this level.) 77 Skill Points after Transition(note you will use your respec points to get spell damage and take out melee damage) Bare minimum, you have all str and int from the tree, so you can plan on your needs for Mjolner, at this moment its more important to get the build functionality not damage, damage will come in time after the functionality is perfect. You can get jewels for extra attributes too, but its not that difficult to get the extra 80 in int and str at this level… Focus on cold resists, you don’t use its purity… 100 Skill Points lvl 75 merciless finished, (just farm Voll map). At this moment you will be having a really easy time, you be flasking a lot for bizarre resistances, and criting a lot too, so infinite flasks, regen with kingsguard is absurd, amazing life pool, good armor, from now on just focus on jewels and getting extra power using the original Life Armor build. nice vid krux, about the orchard map boss i do the other heavy armour crit mjolner build and i can tank it, its my believe both builds could, i also take whispers of doom so the boss is enfeebled with 20% more effectiveness(so 40% red effectiveness total) ruby and granite flask up.
