Honestly, this board is probably the worst forum board I ever used... which is why I hardly use it, as I might get modded or something for an insignificant and ridiculous reason. I wonder if the mods here are also tumblr users.

I don't know, Rachel_GGG forcing the devs to cater to the minority(<1%) to change something that offends some, but making very logical sense in the grimdark world of PoE.

Yeah, some moderators personal beliefs shouldn't interfere with the world the game is set in.

And then there's the "hate speech" thing going on in the forums. Say something factual, that's not politically correct, it's hate speech. Moderate examples: Men having better spacial awareness, reaction times than women (on average). Hate speech, sexism, misogyny.
And by factual I do mean rigorously proven.

If you get dealt with unfairly and the person you are talking to is the problem, then you talk to their boss and so on and so on. You are the customer.

This was what I was afraid of when they initially announced the stricter posting rules and what I believe the OP to be referencing in his/her post. You'll notice the degree of free speech has been constrained to the point that many people have either ceased to post or post such bland, generic posts that the forum has become rather stale and mundane all around. Ironically, the world we live in from day to day is following such a similar trend of "hold hands and sing Kumbaya", otherwise you're being "a hater" (I hate that very term because of its gross overuse) or be subjected to the harshest of penalties.
