Please do this, and rework the sound effects themselves. They are too similar to all other sounds in the game and just blend in.

I'd love to add personal .wav for item drop sound

I agree 100%. i play while watching netflix/youtube.

super loud personal sounds would help a ton

Own awareness while listening to music is key anyhow. I've been used to it quickly full clearing an area with out a missed drop, in a fast mannor, while listening to music.

The sound effects are not necessary, but it doesn't hurt to have the option to have it there for people.

So +1 to sound effects for important drops.
