I only run HC and its even more viable as you don't have to watch your Health anymore for that chaos damage sneaking through and you go from 300%ES to 600+%ES Due to The More Node/Tree, Your Jewels, and the INT bonus. Only reason I got rid of it was because it makes the build easier, cheaper, and more efficient. It's reasonable to get near 800+ INT endgame so that's an Extra 160% from INT alone. It's hard to justify the cost and hard work it is to get good ES and Life rolls on all Gear. Only downside is you don't have Health pots but you do have Vaal Discipline which acts the same way. Focus all your effort into ES. Do you still want me to post the 122 Hybrid

Only red gem that works to increase damage in that colour set up as its super hard to get more Green or Blue on the staff without Corrupting it.

Would Flame Dash be better than Lightning Warp? Flame Dash doesn't require any faster casting gems and you can get 3 charges store up every few second. Plus it creates a burning patch on the ground that last for a good duration to cast whatever curse it's linked to.

Also the staff now cost around 8-10 exalt. Holy shit, I blame the scumbag that decided to sell it for 10 exalt and have everyone follow him.
Boots: Discipline + Vaal Discipline + Clarity + Chaos Golem (BBBB)

Discipline and Clarity reserves 70 percent mana. We left with 30 percent. Do we really need clarity? What about herald of ice?

One I picked up MoM as we have a ton of mana from INT as well as Mana Costs being not bad so our pool is large. And just having ES means 50% chance to avoid being stunned Effectively making it better than Health and a second 55% chance to avoid being stunned while casting from a cluster so two 50% Rolls basically. Also due to our INT we get a ton of ES more than we could get with Hybrid or Health. Avoid being frozen is on a new pair of Warbands boots which you can get in Tempest with Jack in the Box Cards. Or you can just run removes frozen on flask like I do to never worry about frozen again. So I dont really see why its required to have those items to go CI. Also Vaal Discipline works as a ES Health pot. Oh and I'm not sure if you know ES Cooldown is now 1/3 of what it used to be its 2 seconds. This build has double the ES regen rate as well so its 2/5 of the ES per second. With a 4.5 Second Vaal Discipline and Chill of Corruption you get double the Souls back for it when you shatter a frozen enemy with your Traps. Melee gets close you warp out with your double 50% Stun avoid roll and then it temp chains them. But its funny ive been on for like 2-3 years now and I never even heard those were like must have uniques for CI I get why they would be as Hardcore is a fickle mistress but thanks I had to make sure ES was the way to go and without a doubt with all the INT we gather its better to just all in.

Clarity as you get more INT will reserve less. You may use anything else you want though. But I Use it to keep my mana regen fast. Starting it relieves the need for Mana Pots and endgame it gives a little more regen. So if you feel like you want Herald of Ice which is a good choice till it reserves more than Clarity go for it. But keep in mind 30% damage effectiveness on icestorm so you add like 30 damage level 20 for 25% of your second semi-life pool.

Curse on hit doesnt work with DOT effects like burning ground or poison clouds as they don't "hit". Lightning is an AoE circle that hits both where you left and where you are going and with our increased AoE. So when it goes off our Curse hits which Slows everyone around you where you land and where you left which is nice. Bit it does take a four link if you wanna use just flame dash you could have 3 open spots for gems like Golems/Vaal Auras.

Also yeah its because of its new, grants a skill, and the league is fresh. It's a level 33 staff the drop chance is pretty high I looked at the price of the cards as well the sellers are really taking advantage of demand at the momment. 1-2 ex a card is wayyy high.

Doesn't Atziri reflect curses? also on Sunblast, there's a "Traps trigger at the end of their Duration" mod. Does that mean we have to wait for that duration before the traps activate?

Yes but you have curse immunity on a flask so cast your curses after you pop it. Nope its the best mod usually traps disappear at the end of their duration but now they explode they still trigger when stepped on.

Luck isnt with everyone :P Move on you would probably have a better chance of finding the unique or one worth the same amount I said level to like 3 above the zone :P Use firestorm till you get it! if you find a card at this point its better to sell it and then wait for the price of the staff to go down to 1-3ex again like it was yesterday or the day before.

cards farming is pointless. just move on and leech maps, it is much more efficient than being stuck at mid 60. dont forget that you need a ton of shiny CI gear to top the build.
