The gem you are looking for that doesn't change tooltip DPS is Fire Penetration, which you shouldn't swap out anyway. It was definitely one of the two I mentioned. I didnt even have fire pen at the point I posted that.

I will check again when Im at home next, its possible something else was coming into play that I didnt notice.

1- Is this build still rocks and viable for end game
maps? (merciless etc) (i will be playing witch )

2- I see that i need : Cast_when_Damage_Taken ,Increased_Duration,Enduring_Cry and Immortality gems/skills,, but you can't buy it from the shop with Witch, so how should i get it?

3-lastly where do you guys farm strong/unique ítems around lvl 40-50?

Hi! I love this build I'm currently level 50 in act 3 cruel(?). Anyway toughest this for me is gearing up but I guess the same can be said for any build.

Anyway my question is what do you think about running dual curses along with the totems (ie flammability and elemental weakness) to increase damage output.

Would it be better to use this with an item or with the passive tree?

Also do you guys have any idea how much those items are worth?

1) Yes it is

2) This combination doesn´t work anymore.. better use moltenshell, summon skeleton and maybe ice nova.
After you progress you can buy all gems at every jewel/flaksvendor. they have a page 2

3) forget the farming.. this stuff do you need about 5-7 hours.. then you are in merciless and you get all what you need for "high end".
Safe your currency and buy at about 70+ your stuff you need. You will do enough maps to farm good things.

I have a question concerning this defence combo:

For additional defences I suggest using: Enduring Cry (lvl 20+, self-cast)Cast When Damage Taken (lvl 9), Immortal Call (lvl 11) and Increased Duration (level 20+)

and i can read that atm it doesn´t work anymore, and as sugestion ur saying that:

"This combination doesn´t work anymore.. better use moltenshell, summon skeleton and maybe ice nova."

Im having some situations using the 1st setup were i feel i could be getting better results, taking massive spike dmg. I would realy apreciate an opinion on that matter.

Is there a way to do this build with max block or near max block? admittedly with a large decrease in dmg, but i'd be ok with that for the extra block in HC. I'm in no rush.

Now that this is my first real character doing maps, Id like to learn how to improve my character.

My currency is currently 32 chaos (I dunno about other exchange rates. I dont own an exalted)

I am currently doing crafted 69 maps pretty well and will try 70 maps soon.
But I know theres alot of room to improve. I just dont know in what order I should improve and how much of my currency I should spend.

What would you do with this char (which is your only one currently, and with which you want to create some items and currency for new characters).

Buying Infernal Mantle? If so, already 5l? Or 4l or even less and try to link it myself? I currently have around 180 jewellers and 32 fusings. Or instead buy clear mind? Anything else?

first of all.. a normal 5L chest and get this gems out...
Use the 5 like the first post.
Your dps is ok for level 40.. you should be around 15k dps.
