[3.1] RAIDER Tanky Crit Reave/Blade Flurry Dagger/Claw AR+EV+Block NO MIRRORED GEAR

So I recently got a GG claw drop on my reaver who is currently using a bino's



Claw is 293pdps.

Am really considering spending some regrets to swap over to claws.

Since the terror claw base is 2% Life leech, with the tree I think we can run vaal pact without even needing to add life leech as a gem.

My question is, do you think its worth swapping out bino's to try out the claw? Anyone have experience upgrading a bino's and grabbing vaal pact instead?

Not sure, no other way to know than to test it :)

went ahead and tested it. DPS surpringly did not increase much, and I felt far more vulnerable against smaller packs of monsters/bosses for single target.

GGG either needs to - fix leech mechanics. They nerfed it to try and stop uber tanking with moljner and fakner...but they are still able to facetank since absurd damage.

So...At this point I think bino's can only be replaced by 350+pdps dagger with acuities.

Bino's is extremely good, yes...

Since Reave is a very effective meele aoe gem with high range, why dont u go for Herald of ice for the proc of the aoe shatter dmg ?

Because Herald of Ash gives you a lot more dps since it is based off of physical damage.

But hey, if you don't mind losing the dps, you're free to go for herald of ice :)

I want to say thanks for providing such a wonderful build guide. It led me to build my very own Reave Ranger and it is by far my most effective character to date.

She's level 86 now, following the tree pretty similarly except I took many jewel nodes: Passive skill tree build

I took a much more aggressive route, resulting in 115k DPS when running Hatred + Herald of Ash, or 93k DPS when running Determination + Herald of Ash.
This is due to Abyssus adding an absurd amount of damage. Swapping Abyssus with Rat's Nest results in about 50k DPS with my build.
