Great news you have found POE, this game is in mine and a lot of peoples opinion the best ARPG that has ever existed. Once you hit end game find a clan or some friends to ask question about crafting and youll just have a great time, so much stuff to be done and found.

If you would like to support i suggest checking out supporter packs. I look at them as the price of expansion and pick how much i can afford or points i need (if i wanna spend 60-120) and go from there. Stash tabs are very helpful, each day GGG has a sale and about twice a year for afew days they reduce everything to 50% so only spend what you need :p

@Chris: how long will it take you to write the patch notes with all the new stuff and balancing changes incoming? I imagine it will be at least a couple dozen and maybe even ~100 hours? Definitely looking forward to read one serious wall of text ;)

The Hypue is real.

It is nothing but hype. If they release is the way it is now, many will quit. They upped the monster damage, DECREASED mana, reduce mana gem is useless now, are you now limited to auras since reduce mana does NOT work on them (surprise!!). Some skills nerfed some are not. And now the bad part, fortify gem is basically REQUIRED now, so the game is now a melee game, dodge is worthless now, one hit and insta-death of you. Same with CI. We are back to the Path of LIfe nodes again. (slight problem, many more monsters do chaos damage as well-ones that didn't before. ZERO extra chaos resistance added). People that play after the end game will have extra stuff/mods, but for the normal people, nothing good. Some gems can't be used until after lvl 28. So you can't use your typical build until then. Many levels/areas have been REMOVED, some better organized, but many now LINEAR. So over all you only get a few more levels at end-game (like 2). Some old builds will having you die 50+ to a boss, while other builds will fly right through. One of the major boss fights has so much clutter (things going on at the exact same time), it's almost impossible NOT to die. About all suggestions have been ignored, beta only job was to debug, nothing more. This should be strange when it comes out. I wonder if they will bother fixing some of the obvious issues still in beta. Only time will tell.

Play temporary leagues, it s much more fun, trust me. I don't play perma leagues because it s a big dumpster mess right now, 240ex+ op perfectly roll items just ruin the game imo
