We are also doing a rework of map mods. Once done it will be patched in. We will make a manifesto post once the details are close to finalised.

Very interested in this as well. If your goal is to get people to run harder maps, removing pack size and magic mobs as mods and instead tying those to the difficulty of the map is potentially a great way to do it, I think.

Those mods have turned into the old maze and map size mods and they need to go. However, they're nice bonuses to have and they're fun to play, so it'd be cool to still have a way to get them: by rolling your maps harder than you would on live currently.

You really need to revise the way leech mechanics are expressed because it gets more and more confusing each time. If I was someone starting this game today I would really have no idea how leech works and I know a lot of people who've been playing for years also have difficulty.

Hm. I thought the redesigned leech already worked this way.

I'm thinking they will have Increased Leech Rate, so you regen faster, and Increased Leech Amount, so you regen more.

I'm not sure that this will be better for packs vs. single so much as big damage vs. small damage. Big damage will want to leech faster so it can build more stacks, small damage will want bigger leeches since it rarely reaches the cap. My Shock Nova leeches ~0.5% of my life a hit, so as long as I'm hitting less than 40 times a cast I'm nowhere near the limit and making my recovery time 1/8th of a second instead of 1/4th of a second doesn't really matter.
