[outdated] Caustic Arrow Solo Map MFer (20/300+)

So, yesterday I shelled out for the CA microtransaction, and it's actually rather useful. Makes it trivial to see exactly how much area your cloud covers, especially in the dark / underground areas.
Current league IGN: Teldra_Anc_LAD
Feel free to message me in game if I'm on.
Yeah, I saw the video, not only looks neat, but *useful* for properly being able to see where the clouds are. The standard effect is hard to see.

I'll grab it once it goes on sale.

hey whats going on
Hank has beaten serlet with challanges. Grats man!!!

Thanks ichbin.

It's a temporary state of affairs I assure you :-)

"

I found a 6 link blue all blue sockets chest yesterday. My first selffound 6l chest since the
closed beta. (i still dont have the chance orb archievment and well connected)

Grats.

Once I started magic finding with this build I started trying to 6-link occasionally - I've manually 6-linked maybe 3 items or so.

Usually I use Vorici though since I'm pretty risk adverse.

Does anyone know the maps that contain warband leaders? I can't find anything comprehensive on the net.

What I've found so far is this:

Tier 12 - Shipyard - Brinerot
Tier 13 - Beacon - ?
Tier 15 - Overgrown Ruin - Chaos

---
Based on the pattern above I'm speculating that one Tier 14 map also contains warband leaders.

If anyone has more info on the above please share.
T13 Beacon - Redblade (Fire)
T12 Shipyard - Brinerot (Lightning)
T13 Sulphur Wastes - Mutewind (Cold)
T15 Overgrown Ruin - Renegade (Chaos)

Warband List & Relevant Affiliation

Berrots - Renegade
Bin'aia - Redblade
El'Abin - Redblade
Invari - Renegade
Jeinei - Mutewind
Kalria - Renegade
Leli Goya - Redblade
Lokan - Renegade
Lussi- Brinerot
Marchak - Renegade
Morgrants - Renegade
Musky - Brinerot
Otesha - Mutewind
Rama - Renegade
Susara - Brinerot
Uruk Baleh - Redblade
Vessider - Renegade
Yorishi - Mutewind

Thanks Serleth.

One more question...

When maps drop, is it now more likely that neighboring maps (those adjacent on the atlas) will drop?
Not that I'm aware of.

Another question... :-)

I've got over 100 maps complete on the Atlas. So I now have a 100% chance of maps dropping at least one tier higher.

Yet, I just ran an Arcade map and had two Tier 1 Desert maps drop. Is this a bug?

For the most part, the map drop system works the same as before. The new rule is that the maps that can drop are from the following groups:

* Maps you've previously completed in this league (including on other characters).
* Maps that are connected to the one you're playing on the Atlas.
* Tier 1 maps.

From the Detailed Atlas Mechanics thread.

And yes, while the Cumulative Atlas Completion Bonus thread does specify the whole 100% = +1 Tier thing, I'm pretty sure the inference here is that T1's are the exception and can drop anywhere.

For an absolute answer on it, I would email support, but my own map pool appears to support this.

I have more T1s and T3s than I do T2s, with a 90% Atlas bonus, which seems to indicate that the bonus starts applying at T2s since they rarely drop for me anymore.

After thinking a bit about this, I suspect that the way that the Atlas bonus works is still subject to maximum drop level restrictions.

For maps, I think that:
White mobs - Max map drop level = level of the map you're in
Rare/magic mobs - Max map drop level = level of the map you're in plus one
Unique/boss mobs - Max map drop level = level of the map you're in plus two

So a white mob in a Tier 1 map can only drop a Tier 1 map regardless of your Atlas bonus.

A white mob in a Tier 2 map can ostensibly drop a Tier 1 or a Tier 2 map. But if the Tier 1 map drops, the Atlas bonus kicks in, potentially changing it to Tier 2. In my case, my Atlas bonus is > 100% so a white mob in a Tier 2 map would never drop a Tier 1 map for me.

The above is just speculation... but I think that this is the way it works.
