The wording on Far Shot for Ranger is 'Projectile Attack,' so unfortunately this has no effect on the CA cloud at all. I think the Scion version also has no effect on the cloud, but I am not completely sure (the wording is less obvious to me).

To clarify for the Ascendant-Deadeye, yes, Scion's version of Far Shot does benefit the CA damage. Like you alluded to, the word "Attacks" is the key difference.

Maraketh is recommended for your final bow (movement speed implicit) but otherwise, yes, APS is all you're concerned about.

I think this part from the guide should be switched to Pierce gem. They are quite close in More Damage one you get to lvl58+ gem (which is when you'd probably start using a 5L), and with Pierce you don't have to deal with slow projectiles, have the pierce chance obvi, and a really big thing is the lower mana multiplier. Switching from Slower Proj to Pierce dropped mana cost from 47 to 36 for me

How good is occultist from scion for this build? Cause im tempted to take that new slayer one for Culling strike and that inc dmg against rares/bosses. Also, i might be using Blasphemy Vuln (if i go occultist) so i can really take advantage of the occultist curse dmg nodes, how good is Grace here?

Your damaging hits... only applies to the arrow, not the cloud, so not good

The Occultist node is much better.

Ahh okay, thx for the info. All i wanted was the culling strike but if cloud dps cant cull its pointless i guess!
Is it normal for piercing on Drillneck to not count towards your actual piercing. For some reason It isn't for me. Capping my pierce % at 80% (w/only piercing nodes and Deadeye. Also wish I saw the that you could level with CA from the very beginning. Using Light Tendrils was so difficult. As time went on and Passive didn't match the build it only became more difficult.

Only have 60% as I don't have the last node. But skill only shows 50%
