Guys, I bought a 6L thicket bow and was able to roll a single affix of +2. I am not sure how to go about crafting it further. Should I Augment it or craft Cat. mod? If someone can assist with cheapest path to crafting : +3, DoT (LEO) & 2 resists

What level are your Catarina and Elreon?

elreon would hit 8 either tonight or tomorrow but catrina is still in early stages of 7 & I do have Leo5.

I'll probably buy Catrina service but wanted to figure out the exact process before dumping any currency on it.

1) Take a white bow
2) Mastercraft a suffix (which will turn it blue)
3) Regal
4) If necessary, scour and repeat 2 & 3 until you get +2 bow gems (it has to be +2 bow gems, can't be +1 all gems)

At that point, you will have a rare bow with +2 bow gems and a mastercrafted suffix. Which you then bench-scour with Tora's bench, which will leave you with a rare bow that has just +2 bow gems.

* Then multimod (Elreon)
* Then "Cannot Roll Attack Mods" (Catarina)
* Then mastercraft a random suffix / random prefix so you only have one prefix left
* Exalt +1
* Use a master to bench-scour (remove crafted mod) so you're left with just a +2/+1 bow
* Then multimod again and mastercraft two resistances on it to make gearing everything else easier, and of course Leo's DoT mod

This process is a bit more expensive - it'll end up being 6ex + a bit of the cheaper currency. I'm still saving currency for this... while keeping an eye on the market for a Maraketh base. If I manage to snag one of those before I've got the 6ex for this, I'll take the time delay for the extra movement speed. :)

One more question , does removing Caterina Mod using bench scour also removes elreon multimod?

I believe so, but I haven't actually done it.

there's another way that'S cheaper if you don't need the res. it's in the op

Also, you can do it in stages... so if you've only got the 4ex, you can skip the last step and just mastercraft leo's DOT mod, so you'll still have the damage output, just missing the resistances.

Then, when you've saved up the extra 2ex, bench scour Leo's mod off and run that last step.

Realistically, depending on how OCD you are, you might end up scouring and redoing that last step a few times to get good rolls on Leo's and your resistances anyway. It's not like you'll have a lot to spend your currency on at that point in the character leveling anyway!
