Spoiler

Seems like the 10% movement speed from goldwyrm feels so slow in maps..

2x Ample Quicksilver Flasks of Adrenaline.

Solves that problem.

Quicksilver + Silver Flask are better IMHO. You can use better for a big bonus, since their effects stack.

One problem with Qucksilver+Silver is you use twice as many charges, so less uses.

Sulphur flask is also nice for bosses. DPS boost is pretty good.

This has easily become my new favorite flask with this build:

I just hit the flask, run like mad for 3.5 seconds, shoot a cloud backwards and forwards, which refills it instantly and kills everything, then pop it again and repeat. I can use it with nearly full up-time while mapping or in dried lake.

I seem to be getting <0.1 ex/hour.

I was running Shores, Promenades and Areans (around 15 maps in total).

I got around 10-15 c in currency at the end.

It took me >5 mins to clear each map (7-10)-I dont know if I lack dmg or am I being really really inefficient or what.

Gear is in my profile, "Abudantia" character.

I need tips and help.

MF is at 20/200, capped resistances and around 3.8k HP.

Something that I found to help a lot with my farming speed with Caustic Arrow is to set up your loot filter properly.

Since we have to shoot the cloud, then wait for it to kill the enemies, you potentially spend a lot of time sitting around just waiting - sometimes there are no notable drops, so this time is wasted.

What I've done is set up my loot filter to play different sounds when certain items drop. That way I can keep moving all the time and let my cloud do its work off screen as I sprint ahead. Then I just listen to the sounds that play from the off screen kills. If I hear a chaos or regal orb drop, I know to sprint back for it. If I hear nothing, then I know not to waste my time going back.

This has cut my map clearing time in half.

Hey need some Izaro advice... did him no problem on normal and cruel, but just can't kill him on merciless. I make it through the entire labyrinth no trouble at all, its just on that last Izaro battle I die. Consistenly. I think I've tried like 8 or 9 times. I usually wear this gear when I go for him...

Tree:

My res is capped, and I usually swap out my item rarity for chaos damage- adds a huge bump to damage. But no dice. I've taken deadeye/occultist.

I thought at lvl83 with my gear I should be able to do him, but apparently not.

Suggestions on gear improvements or whatever to help?

Haven't done Merciless Izaro yet. If anyone else wants to chip in here, that'd be much appreciated.

What is your problem exactly? What phase? Are you being oneshotted? Are your flasks running out of charges?

I made about 15 runs so far and died like 2 times because the charge oneshotted me. All of his attacks are very well telegraphed so it was movement mistakes on my part.
Flasks are easily recharged from the skeleton army he summons.

Use your blink arrow, golem and wither totem as distractions and don't stop moving. Should be easy enough.
Hell, I haven't done CRUEL Izaro yet. I was in the middle of the last fight and doing well today, and the realm went offline for the patch. Since then I've gotten killed twice trying to get back to the same spot. :(

Going to go eat, maybe come back and give it another shot later tonight.

One bright spot... this dropped on the way today:

Yeah, basically this.

I just did Merciless Izaro after seeing the question, with 4k life, level 73 and 6.5k tooltip dps.

Avoid the charge and it's basically easy with the above tips from mescalito.

Yeah that's what I thought too :)

I run around, and actually survive pretty well until he's down on life... then I repeatedly get stuck or he one-shots me.

Good info though, sounds like I have the right idea, but am probably just sucking at execution.
Hi, I am just comparing with another CA build...

https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1594608

Wondering why not pick up the Atrophy too? Since the frenzy would be still at lvl 1, projectile damage is not better right?
No difference between projectile vs chaos on this build. Atrophy is an additional 10 points away from Serleth's tree... Looks like Grocery's tree is lvl 100, and I think Serleth's is ... 92? If you keep going, that would be a great skill to add, although I'd be tempted to go for Method to the Madness instead, it's only 7 points away and comparable.

Progress report: Perandus offered me a Drillneck as well, ~700 coins. :)
On the lookout for a well rolled Andy now.
