[outdated] Caustic Arrow Solo Map MFer (20/300+)
Thanks for answers. Its probably already said but where should i go first? Shadow or duelist part of the skill tree?

" Finesse, Heart of Oak, up to Shadow life, thru Entropy, up to Blood Drinker, Growth of Decay, Method to the Madness, the entire Duelist section (starting with Dirty Techniques, then Master of Arena, Fury Bolts, Golem's Blood), Scion Life, finish the right-side loop by going through Herbalism, remove Method to the Madness for frenzy charges/jewel slots, then polish the rest of the tree off. " Damn, ty for fast answers... It seems im following the wrong skill tree, mine does not have Method to the Madness... Can you please copy paste the tree I need to use? Sry for the time wasted on me. |

" You'd be following the correct tree. Notice: " Method to the Madness is just a temporary levelling cluster. You eventually spec out of it to use those 9 points for the more efficient jewel slots, which result in you pathing on the outer right near Herbalism, Acro and all that jazz. But because you want to get to Shadow as quick as possible, you pop directly up from Finesse to Shadow and get all the good stuff there. Then because there's a bit of travel required before you pick up any more damage if you go straight to Duelist, you pick up Method to compensate so you're not sitting on less damage than you possibly could have. Your other option is to path up to Shadow, grab all that stuff, then spend time finishing the Herbalism/Acro loop, and once you're connected to Shadow via the right side nodes, you can remove the more direct travel nodes coming out from Heart of Oak and send those down toward Duelist but that ends up being around six points sitting around doing nothing until you make that connection. Hence, the temporary Method pickup. Min-maxes your point usage while levelling. (All this of course assumes you're going to be using CA pretty much asap, because otherwise there's no reason to get Method, which is purely chaos damage. If you're going to be levelling up to maps with EK/Searing bond, then it's exactly the same as above, but you just don't touch Method and instead remove only those travel nodes after you complete the loop, because you'll still want to get to Shadow asap for the DoT support for Searing, and to prepare for the final tree). " Thanks! Do you feel its better to get a 5L 6S to prep for 6L later for the +3, just get the 6L, or just +3 the 5L I'm using now? I don't have lvl 8 cata, so that's going to be a little while as I level her up. |
|
" Reroll that 5L to +2 if it's ilvl 64. If not, get an ilvl 64 5L, roll it +2. After that it's kind of your call. I typically find the fusing cost is around 800, but if you don't want to risk RNG and go over 1500 (which is roughly 11ex), then you can just buy a 6L +3 for around 6-7ex. Given that fuses are 130:1 or so, and your expectation on a gamble 6L should be around 900 fuses, and 6ex = 780 fuses... I'd just buy the 6L +3. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018.

As it is hard to find a 6L bow with movement speed, is it better to buy a 6L without or buy a cheap bow with speed movement and try to 6L it?
Thanks, |

" It's more important to have the +3 than the maraketh base. When you're ready to craft your own dual res bow, that's when you go for maraketh. You'll always be able to sell your old bow and recover the cost Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018.
