[outdated] Caustic Arrow Solo Map MFer (20/300+)
" I don't sadly. Even if I did I'd still have no access to leo's damage over time mod which I refuse to get cause I hate PVP and just refuse to play it so my only choice will be to buy one that has +3, damage overtime leo mod and after that, well, resistences preferably. I actually have no master level at level 8. I have elreon at 7 which is my highest, everything else at 6 or 5 and leo at 1 which is the only level he'll ever have as well as no place within my hideout even if he tecnicly ocupies no one's place (cause he stinks :P ). hello sir; took a look at your build; we have pretty much the same skillpoints but I am leaving out acro and going hybrid armour/evasion and stacking as much regen as I can via frenzy charges (8, actually)
Thanks for your guide on gems and what modifiers work best as I wasn't totally sure. Can't wait to try this out tonight when I am off work :) edit: made my bow today. bow cost 3 ex as I bought it already linked a year ago. Took 1 alt to get +2 gems (lucky, eh?) then I put the cata mod on (1 ex), regal'd and failed with a LHoK, then failed with an exalt (sort of) with fire res then on 3rd ex, hit the +1. This bow cost me 6 ex, 1 regal, 1 scour to take cata mod off and 1 alt lol. All I need to do now is put DoT on and exalt the last stat. So final total of the bow will be 8 ex max :D (I don't know how much Leo mod is) POE is life. POE is ♥. Last edited by KonaLuvsPOE#3058 on Oct 9, 2015, 11:40:28 AM

I'm needing a little help. I decided to roll this build for the one month flashback event. Everything has gone great up until lvl 76, I can't find anywhere to lvl where I'm not dying super fast. I would say my gear is alright except the bow. I have the bow, I just can't seem to roll the correct colors. I would really appreciate any and all advice so that I may be able to hit 85.

" I would spend some regrets moving out of frenzy charges and/or ranger projectile damage in order to fill more of the Scion life wheel and complete the Acrobatics branch. You also have a grand total of 14 life on gear, other than on your gloves and belt. Combine that with that you only have 120% life on the tree (hence the above recommendation), you're probably sitting at something extremely low like 3.3k life, which just isn't going to cut it to level up. In short, you've prioritized way too much on damage and MF rather than pushing for survivability. You're also using Nomic's Storm, which is flat out terrible for this build. You've increased your physical damage taken by 20% for literally no reason. The boots provide nothing. Get a rare pair of boots with life, MS and resistances. You should also roll two hallowed seething flasks and one catalyzed eternal. You shouldn't need more than one mana flask, if that. That's why we get Soul Siphon, for the MGOK, so we don't need mana flasks at all, and can run a lower level clarity if need be. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018. He is most definitly not at 3.3k life. While in my case I have all life from the tree acording to the build except for those on the scion wheel (will get them on the next 2 levels since it is what I was working towards). I have almost 2.7K and that is with a healm for 50, drillneck for 40 and carcass jack for 52. I have no more life anywhere.
And I must say it sufices for me really. i mean I'm not doing really high level maps but then again this build will always be very low life at the end of the day. what 2.7K doesn't saves me from, I'm sure 3K won't save me from. It's just a matter of avoiding (kiting or not playing those maps) the bosses that can one shot you. So long as he has a +3 bow with slower projectiles and empower level 3 that alone should account for 9K dps on the poison. If he has a drillneck he gains 1K straight... Well maybe less depending on the base gem level, even then though, 7K DPS is enough to start mapping which is the point at which I started with about 2.4K life and I didn't even had maxed resistence (mostly because I derped and looked at it in ho and thought enough, something I corrected quickly enough. " Here's the changes I'd make. 1. While leveling, prioritize survivability. This means that you might end up sacrificing some magic find for more life, evasion, dps, etc. Try to get more life on your helm/boots/chest. 2. I've found that Serleth's flask recommendations really help. In particular you'll want two Seething Hallowed Life Flasks. I'd take the Soul Siphon passive, drop those 2 mana flasks and replace them with Seething Hallowed Life Flasks. 3. I highly recommend the use of Flame Totem. The totem draws aggro nicely and culling boosts dps somewhat. Flame Totem - Faster Projectiles - Culling Strike - Item Rarity. Note that the totem will die quickly until it levels a bit; but once properly leveled the totem is quite robust and really helps out. This league is pretty tough especially when the Beyond League Mod is active. Occasionally I've just given up on maps when total craziness ensues, something I've never done before in standard leagues. " You'd be surprised. I had to temporarily spec out of my EK build with 4.5k life pushing from 81-85, going to AB FT. Once I got 4.8k life, I switched back to EK and I was surviving again. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018.

Well I'm sure it might save you from possible bursts of damage, but definitly not from those bosses that one hit you. Especially when you are going pure evasion and we are talking about physical hits for probably over 10K damage which yes, you may dodge but it's more likely that you won't. I do have immortal call and CWDT at level 1 just to prevent those damage bursts when you get several hits in rapid succession. The old combo with enduring cry might be over (at least on a fully automated state) but it's still very usefull to have those 2 linked together in any build.
