[outdated] Caustic Arrow Solo Map MFer (20/300+)

Hi all,
This bow dropped while I was playing another toon and I am wondering if I can add the DoT mod from Leo on it?



Also, do you think it would be worth it to 5L it? I have enough jewelers to 6s it but I will need to save up a little bit to use bench to 5L it.

Yeah. As much as it would be nice to have Aurseize, the changes to monster damage output, especially in higher level maps, are a big reason I don't recommend them for this build. Used to be that 4.5k life was enough even in 78 maps. Now you want closer to 5k, hence the rare gloves.

Oh, so disappointing to hear. :( Oh well, it was lucky enough for a +3 bow to drop. Guess I cant have everything. :)

I hit 90 today. I don't know where I can go from here. This is probably about the end of the road for this guy. Any suggestions skill/gear wise would be appreciated.

I feel really squishy being level 70 right now. Any advice on what sort of gear or passives to head for?

Right now the only frenzy node I grabbed was the one that also gives the extra evasion. Eventually plan to grab those, but I haven't been using frenzy all that much (I was while leveling, but lately I've been experimenting with ice shot instead of frenzy for my "barrel breaker").

Despite having some nice gear, some of those was just luck/trades (basically traded a Whispering Ice for my Drillneck). If/when I get 2 exalted, plan to get the +1 to my bow. I have some higher MF boots, but the movement speed really bothers me, so I am wearing those.

My guess is your life is probably around 3-3.5k. That's why the squish. And your gear isn't helping on that front: you're missing life on boots and a ring.

Use a leather belt instead of Perandus. You don't need that much IIQ while you have Greed's Embrace up along with Sadima's. You don't have the IIR to make the extra 7% from the belt worthwhile.

Drop the Frenzy charge you've taken (for now) and grab the life node after Golem's blood + Shadow life, then Scion life.

You've focused too much on damage and MF without focusing on survivability to offset the gear choices you've made. Go survival mode (completely dropping MF gear if you have to) and push somewhere to 79-81 to at least pick up Constitution in Scion and the aforementioned Shadow and duelist life nodes. If the jewel sockets you've taken don't have life, either get life jewels or temporarily spec out of those nodes until you're less squish. Then grab them again later.

Hey little update on the build Im level 65 and feel a little squishy its prolly cause of my life and i know that ive got to head for scion life nodes im like 8 points away from them so its not going to be that long. But my damage doesnt feel that good.



Thats all my gear im at 3.7k hp so its not that bad at this level. I stil lhave the whole life wheel to get so yeah. My pa does around 3.8k dps with frenzy charges and it clears white/blue mods kind of ok but rares and unique bosses take so long lol. What should i do to start upgrading? i know i have to get a drillneck and a +3 but how am i suposed to get those expensive items on this new char?
