One-Week Cut-Throat Event

Make Things For Smile!
Hi, I just wanted to offer a little feedback regarding this league. Also a small slip-up in the notes.

I was initially excited to see this yesterday, and when one of my poe buddies got on I told him all about it, and he asked, "can we party?" I had skimmed and read:

"Non-partied players only show up on the map if they're nearby." so I told him yes.

When I was chatting with another of my poe friends today, he pointed out that we couldn't party, and the original friend said "hell with that, I'm not doing it!" and I really agreed with him. I wouldn't feel motivated to re-equip my character without the support of a party and friends, and there is no one to share in the joy of victory with.

Also, I remember having a lot of fun coordinating in the original cut-throats, but since they were hardcore, we would play until one or two of us died and then we would stop.

As for correcting this, the idea of only allowing parties of the same size (or close) to enter each others instances was mentioned. Seemed like a good fix to me.

There was a lot to read but...

Players can't form parties. This helps solve the roaming-death-squad problem while also opening up some awesome friendly fire situations. You have to really trust your friends if they could take advantage of your low health by firing a few well-placed fireballs and taking your gear.

I do think it would be cool if they did a "Solo" event and a "Party" event. Solo event for those who want to play without needing to find a party to just survive and the Party event for those who enjoy teaming up... they can fight against others who enjoy teaming up.

So... everyone basically playing a trapper?

No everybody is going Glacial Hammer, some people play it like a PVE event going Searing Bond Templar and rage quit after Glacial Hammer characters chase them

There are no balance changes at all so have fun getting glacial hammered and look for instances on all servers.

Glacial hammer does 20% LESS damage because of pvp scaling. I don't get where your "no balance changes" comes from.

If you think about it that way any spell would do the same thing but at a distance. It doesn't justify using GH over anything else.
Well i dont like PvP at all...
Dont think ill even try,tbh idea is bad...Endless ledge would be more fun...

Absolutely love the revised cut-throat. I've been a harsh opponent towards cut-throat races, however with rules like this like no perma-death, no death squads and nerf on most powerful combo in game (alf+f4), I wouldn't mind that even a permanent cut-throat league would appear!
