If someone is killing you just reroll and kill him/ru naway from him. I went multiple times from 2h white maul to full gear of rare and magic items.


Pk at wp? use ctrl+rmb on wp to make new one from town.

got killed by a lvl 17 in prison(wich is lvl 9)

i understand +2 or 3 lvl above but not 9 or 10.....
What are you talking about? This league is a big success. Combined 300 viewers currently on all of the poe streams in twitch.

Still as garbage as in open beta, should have deleted cutthroat or worked on it.

EVERYONE is camping on zone portals/waypoints, can't even kill people. "heard about the portal cooldown?" there's none.
Got my player kill achievement in mud flats, not by camping, just a random encounter so that was good. Got destroyed in the Upper Prison while taking down Sawbones via another player's glacial cascade. Never even saw it coming till it was too late. I have no issue with this fight, it's pretty much what I anticipated and at least it was one on one.

I can feel the potential here, but the fundamental flaws are really holding this back. For low level characters there's really no opportunity to build any sort of reasonable gear or skill combos that would give you a fighting chance. I personally feel there should be no player interaction till level 28 so players can level up, gear up and prepare to put up a reasonable fight.

Also camping to get cheap kills is hella-lame and I expect the stats will show a massive drop in participation from players in a very short time frame. When you can't even get out of the starting gate there's really not much point in participating any more.

So back to Standard for me now. It's kinda disappointing that clearing 30 or so Remove Only tabs is more appealing than playing the weekly event. I did at least score a Rat's Nest from my Master Daily mission so the day wasn't a complete waste :)

The Problem in this league is that people are using skype etc and gang up on others as a group. I was level 2 and 2 level 3 were following me through several instances. If it was a 1v1 stuff id say its oaky, but ganging up destryos the experiencel
So I was lightning tendrilsing Hailrake and this dude runs over... straight into my cone of lightning, dying almost instantly. I didn't even notice him until the achievement popped up lmao, guy musta had a death wish.

Played up to Merveil without dying, then WHILE I WAS FIGHTING MERVEIL some guy joins the boss room and kills me. Lost my low-tier GG rare wand with +1 lightning and spell damage :(, worst part is my killer probably just vendored it.

The league definitely has potential to be fun, I just don't know how it should be implemented properly-- don't think this was it.

I played for 2-3 hours and I'm still in top 200. Nice dead league.

Here we go. This is the most boring and automatic activity. Scout alone/weak/recently killed player, invade through WP - kill - repeat. WP invading should be off completely. Make the hunter actually follow and track its prey.

/whois is almost a cheat in cutthroat, since you can know where specific guy is and follow him. This shouldn't be abused.

At first, removing information from instance screen seems good, as you don't know who's in and how many are they. But it ruins the last way to cooperate in solo cutthroat games (party cutthroat is so shitty that I wouldn't even talk about it) so I heavily doubt this solution.

No notifications please. Clever player leaves traps behind and listens carefully for strange noises. But to make things more complicated and fun, locking portals/logouts if not alone is a pretty good option. You must run to safety which is either WP to town or instance entrance. When you enter new instance you can open TP to safety.
