I was interested about either a Headhunter (as for me it's the funniest item in the game) or something more common.

Two reasons made me retract from the Headhunter idea :

-It's a really popular item, and i was sure someone would do a card for it at some point. I was right as there's already 2 of them i think at this point.
-I'm one of the unluckiest person when it comes to RNG so i was afraid i would never had the pleasure of dropping my own card ever ^^

That's why i chose to do a prismatic ring card.

I always liked this base item as it's usefull on every characters people do.

I always alch two stone rings and transform them into prismatics when they roll bad. I then trade 5 of them into a new one when they are terrible.

I wanted to make a card for a legacy version of the rings (10% to 12% AR implicit) but GGG said it was not possible. A live version is fine still.

The reasonning is : No Item level so the item can be used either while levelling or you can choose to keep the cards and turn them into rings later to have higher rolls.
It's common enough to be able to get one in a reasonnable amount of time without having to commit too long for it.
The drop rate of the card is not rare as it's a white base without any guaranted stats. You still have to alch the ring.

The flavor text is just a little fun story i tried to tell. My english isn't good enough, so i wrote something that GGG helped me turn into a more "poetic" sentence. A poor guy put all is soul into the craft of a prismatic ring for his future wife and got stomped by a rhoa on his way home.

I wanted an item to be considered as a little bonus while farming/leveling, so i hoped it would drop in a common area like Ledge or Aquaduct. The Rhoa story background made GGG to put it in Mud Flats + Fetid Pool wich is really cool.
As i explained in a thread somewhere, i really like farming Mud Flats as it provides a really good density of things to do/get. Lots of lockboxes, masters, corrupted areas and occasionnal feathers to keep the fun active. Now with a card i consider useful that drops there it's even better :) . I hope every areas could have this kind of activity density.


TL;DR : an overall usefull and common item for everyone.
