Were all passionate about the game and we sometimes put too much of that in our posts, Im the king of saying things I mean and then 2 hours later thinking "man, you know as much as I absolutely meant every word of that maybe I should have sugar coated it so that the people it was aimed at could actually swallow it" Theres truth and then theres efficacy. Weve all been there.

No need to be upset with each other, Im sure no one actually wants to quarrel, we say things, we go over the top, but no harm done, its all good gentlemen.

GGG profits from everyone playing the game, not just who pays. People who don't want/can't pay can still invite friends, party/trade/guild with others making their experience more enjoyable and keeping them playing for longer. They can also provide feedback and ideas to improve the game. Each and every player has the same rights.

Some people are more passionate than others voicing their opinions and sometimes look too harsh. But they want the same as you: a better game.

Asking people to leave the game and offending them is not white-knighting. White-knighting is defending the interests of GGG and PoE.

I used to post a lot more in the past than I do now, but due to so many people taking every new idea or piece of feedback down, calling them whines and worse, I stopped. Maybe it saved a forums from reading many more stupid ideas, but it may as well prevented them from reading a few good ones.

We need people voicing their ideas in a constructive manner, and people discussing them in a constructive manner. For a better community, for a better PoE.

It's sad to see obvious die hard gamers of PoE tear each other out with words because of a delay. Hope GGG learns from this. You are lucky to have this passionate playerbase, please stop hyping things that are still in the planning/unfinished phase. Now I can see clearly why a closed BETA should really be a closed one.

GGG, please rebalance the stats stats an item gets depending on its level.
A lvl 59 armor chest should not get only 8 str as a mod.
I am sorry but this is BS and an insult.
The minimum str/int/dex and any other stat MUST be raised for high lvl items.
4% AR on a 57 ring ?!?

theres always a new character to chase for those who want a new character to chase with the current gear mods. AXN is literally the only guy in the game who probably doesnt have a new gear set to chase, and Im not sure turning everything hes worked for over the last 2 years into second class gear is what he wants to happen on release.

It will bring about the exact opposite of that, it will make people whove given over unthinkable amounts of their time and effort to getting stuff feel completely cheated and zap any willpower they have to do it all over again just to have the rug pulled out from under their feet all over again. You could gear 100 different characters in mirrored gear and still have new builds and gear to aim for right now, if you have BiS gear right now and you are not trying to gear up even more characters its because you dont want to gear up more characters, not because theres nothing left to get.

I will never stop making new characters and getting more gear, unless they start putting out new tiers of mods for the sake of it and undermining the work Ive already put in, thats going to stop me putting any more time and effort into this game and make me walk away from Poe for good.

I understand it for the most part but I actually think the example cited by Felix probably needs to be a thing. It's a very niche combination that's not actually worthless but might have a very high trading value for specific builds. Also gives potential for the rise of cool new potentially strong builds that nobody thinks about after a couple months of release. It's kind of giving some more depth and hidden potential to the game.

Yet, while I agree that even he might bring new players to the game, that doesn't mean anyone needs to put up with his lies, missconceptions, entitlement, and ignorance. He can bring his friends without spewing. And somehow I can't quite align the image of a fun party / guild member with his post, as it's a show of character.

Also, while he's providing "feedback" between his spewing (spewing examples: "Beeing a small indie company with no future sight", "you just want the amusement of seeing people suffer"), he's asking for GGG to be LESS communicative, and to put out work-in-progress prematurely (lockstep, act 4 content).

That stuff is dangerous. Vocal, loud, spewing minorities can cause a whole lot of damage.
