Hi,

I would like to hide Scrolls of Wisdom and add some color to the new splinters. I'd really appreaciate it if someone could tell me what to add to the script.

Thanks'n greetz

Use filtration, then it's 1 click to turn off Show Wisdoms.
Adding colors is a breeze 2.

Can you give me an example of what you toggled and what the expectation and the result was? Will look into this once I'm fully awake in a couple of hours :)

2.5.1 fixed it, not sure why. the filter was displaying all 78+ magic bases and I couldn't get rid of them.

Cheers!
Is there a way to apply the .diff file for 2.5.1 to the 2.5.0 file with filtration?
Or is there another method that allows to keep selfmade changes (toggles, etc.).

Thanks for your work!
I'm going to answer multiple questions in this post:

Another thing I's like to add

I am very rarely seeing new item bases. What is the rule of it. (This is especially new jewellery)

THanks

The "normal" rare rules apply, e.g. red border + yellow/orange text for 84+, red border for 79+ and just rare border for anything below.

Normal and magic items should receive a greyish/white border. I get this question a lot, but please keep in mind that Atlas of World items are map bound, so they can't drop everywhere. I've played a lot last league and maybe found 5 or 6 AoW items.

If you have one, throw it on the ground and you'll see, otherwise borrow one :)

That's explained in the customization section. You'll find it at the top of the filter file, right behind the Overview section. I recommend using Notepad++ for an actual editor or Filtration if you prefer a GUI. You'll find the link to Filtration in the first post of this thread.

Let me know if you need a hand!

You're right. I won't go into detail, let's just say I had a lot of mails going back and forth with GGG about a couple of things and while technically the terms of the license aren't met, there was atleast some sort of acknowledgement. I won't pursue this any further.

Did they have a border like this?

I don't think Filtration can handle patch files. It's a little weird for me to answer since I'm never in the position of merging selfmade changes. However the patch file should make it easy to determine sections that have been altered. I guess it would be easy to just replace the whole section if you haven't modified it and apply other changes line by line for sections that you did modify.

Another thing, specifically if you only use toggles to modify the script, would be to automate the toggling. So you would just download the new version and run your script against it that does simple search and replace actions.

I try to release between one and three versions per league so you won't have to do this too often. Usually there are some small tweaks in week one (=2.5.1) and a couple more later, although if possible, I'll try to avoid a 2.5.2 version. I'm not even sure everyone needs 2.5.1, it's not like bugs were fixed. But splinter needed to stand out a little more, so that was the main reason to release it.

Probably, but like I said your new version fixed it so all is well, cheers.

My point is, it's not the new version that fixed it. Nothing in that section has changed between 2.5.0 and 2.5.1. If they had a border like that, then you edited the filter with an older version of Filtration that didn't support certain tags yet and it will happen again if you don't use Filtration >= 0.15.

Thanks for your answer. I wanted to make sure that i didn't just miss something obvious.

I see, I do remember updating filtration. Seems like filtration can't edit all of your filter's options though. (for example the rare block among some others are empty in filtration)

You have to click on "Show Advanced Blocks" on the ribbon-thing to the right of "Expand all". That should allow you to see and edit all the blocks.
