Can you please remove Lightning Coil from the list of items that spawn with a sound effect? It has the sound effect of an Exalted/Divine/6Link dropping, and that item is worth like 1c. The disappointment I had when seeing a lightning coil dropped was immense....

LC is probably the most wanted item early in a fresh league and therefore very valuable!

That's fine and all, it can be highlighted colorfully, but giving it the sound effect of a 6L/Exalted is way too much imo. Just creates big disappointment...
Standard (1alch)
Hardcore (1,5ex)
Flashback 1MSC (0,7ex)
Flashback 1MHC (1,5ex)

Those are simply the cheapest ones that have a b/o, not accounting online/offline or even availability. So I assume you play standard and standard only.

Lightning Coil is in there because as you might know, its rarity tier got bumped recently. Which resulted in way higher prices compared to what it used to go for.

However it dropped in price again with the recent bump in droprate of higher tier uniques. On top of that the current 1 month prices seem very low in comparison.

Frankly, I'm not quite sure what to do with it. I initially planned to only list uniques that have a certain value in all the legues. Now that we have a list of valuable uniques and divination cards that is automatically being updated I might just add different blocks for each league.
That would enable you to choose the highlighting you want.

By the way Blizzard, are the multiple dots at the end of your sentences supposed to mean anything? Looks weird to me and I'm not aware of any meaning.

They don't have a special meaning. :)

I understand your explanation. Indeed I play Standard only.
There are quite some other valuable items that are worth several Ex's that don't get to have the special sound effect (correct me if I'm wrong?).
But that's fine if you think it's ok the way it is. I understand the need to cater for all the audiences out there.

If it was me, a normal non-unique 5Link dropping wouldn't have a received a special sound as well, but then again, I understand the need to cater to all audiences which is fine.

Maybe move it to the 5L sound theme.

Which ones? It's entirely possible that I made a mistake. I'm just some dude playing PoE as well :) I don't claim to know everything.

Filters don't know which unique dropped, though. We work with basetypes [Leather Belt (BaseType) vs Headhunter (Unique)]. So if the same basetype has multiple basetypes (as is the case with Leather Belt) then they are only listed if every unique has a high value. So you don't get a heartattack every time Wurm's Molt drops.

Oh yeah I can see that. The next version will have improvements in that area. See the changelog for details.

Oooooooh. That explains it then.

And yes, I know your list is the best, which is why I'm using it. You've been doing an outstanding work! :>

Got a question:
I just realized your filter "downgrades" chromatic orb items at least in one case.
1.) Why are you doing it?
2.) Is this a general rule or item specific?

Some more details:
Sharkskin Tunic iLvL 79 rare
is displayed larger as a "normal" rare than one with 3 linked sockets.

What do you mean by downgrade?

/edit: Ah, could it be that you are refering to rare chromatic items that take more than 4x1 or 2x2 inventory space? They are considered "large" chromatics and are displayed slightly smaller.

Smaller and or dimmed rares are the least prefered chaos/regal recipe items. Good rares have a border. Sockets < 6 are meaningless for how rares are being displayed.

Exactly.
But why are they displayed slightly smaller? They are strictly better than the none chromatic version. My first assumptions without knowing the specific rules were: brighter yellow is better. Bigger is better. And then i encountered these items and had to check wtf happend there :/ .

A big 2h weapon (4x2) might strictly be better if it is a chromatic item, but I still value it less than the others.

Also, chaos/regal recipe wise you wouldn't use it anyway. So if you pick stuff up to vendor it as a chrom, might as well use the ones that don't take as much inventory space.

I could in theory add another condition (for 3x2 Body Armour) that stops making them smaller above itemlevel 60 so that there's no difference anymore but I don't think it's worth it. As I said, for chroms pick the small ones, for chaos/regal I usually have more than enough body armours.

I'am not picking them up for the chaos/regal recipe nor for the chromatic recipe.
I pick them up because i want to identify them, see if i can use the item and afterwards decide what to do with it.

What i don't like about your solution is the inconsitency.
