Clearly you have missed the "Ruler of Wraeclast" supporter pack ;)

On a further note:
you dont have to buy anything! the supporter packs are there to actually support the game.
if there are ppl out there who want to throw several hundrets or thousands of dollars at GGG let them do it. because of those guys there even is an act IV now!

You realise that without significant donations from enthusiastic players, there would be no Path of Exile? If GGG's business model is genuinely "disgusting" to you, then stop playing, stop posting, remove PoE from your computer and donate that computer to charity.

Oooh, both of the pieces of news I was waiting on at once! Love the weapon effects, those look fantastic. Wish there were some apparition effects that were less demonic and more... I dunno, mystical or merely creepy or something, not sure I'll get much use out of those even though I'll probably end up with two or three of them eventually. The t-shirt isn't bad, but nothing will ever top the Tabula Rasa t-shirt that I spotted Chris Kluwe wearing, whatever past pack that was from, and I say that as a person who despises white t-shirts.

Divination cards are interesting. Wondering if they will be account-locked (i.e. will people start selling them?). And glad to see that it looks like they'll just be a single stacking item instead of having to collect X different (and thus not stackable in stash, and thus extremely space-hoggy for people who can't buy lots of tabs) items to get the reward.

It is not charity - it is a service.

Reading comprehension is a basis in elementary school.
I am not against supporting someone efforts but all that hype around every new pack so often, too often, too me is unreasonable and obnoxious, indeed as I said in one hand disgusting.

Are you sure it is not you who has problems with the basics of reading comprehension?

PoE being free to play does not mean game development, maintenance and infrastructure are free as well. All those things have to be paid by hard cash. This cash is earned by GGG via voluntary and fully optional microtransactions that include also supporter packs.

There are obviously people that can afford to support PoE with large amount of money. These people are excited and hyped about these packs. Not because they can get some fancy effects and forum titles but due to new way how to support GGG and PoE. This is why they are excited.

Also, these generous supporters are exactly those people that keep the game running and free for the vast majority that does not pay a dime-for whatever reasons and I don't need to know those.

I, personally, can't justify to spend $250 or more on a game. It is not that I can't afford it, it just does not feel right to spend so much money on a game. However, I have no issue to drop some $ here and there to buy some microtransactions or smaller supporter packs equal to standard AAA titles price.

I don't think GGG devs are hungry, they are fed well.

BTW that what u suggest would be the correct way and worthy of worship for someone like you, someone who's parents bought a computer for the purpose of education and in the end did not serve for anything more than the average game console.
