Clive on a side note. I agree with the way you are feeling, In my head I invision the same grind as you would any item/currency for these cards. The downfall seems to be in the fact that they reside in specific areas and as you pointed out. Who wants to farm Dominus when you are 80+ trying to map efficiently.

I agree that a simple buff to drops, quality and quantity would be perfect. Although RNGesus would still come into play and people would doubt the buffed drop rates.

Seems like there are now two ways to skin a cat.

Also, imagine if these areas don't apply to maps? And then further still, lets say they do apply to maps. The amount of tilesets you get the higher you go into maps dwindles dramatically. This means that no matter what, you will eventually have to hit up very low level areas anyway.

My guess is this appeals to the kind of people that enjoy farming zones over and over for loot. I am not one of those people so clearly it is not geared towards me.

Yes. I bought the Apprentice Pack for Forsaken Masters and I went back considering getting a higher tier pack and there was an "upgrade" option available.

I did that too with the Forsaken Pack. I remember it was mentioned in the text before the actual packs that you could do that. I dont see that being mentioned this time. Thats why Im asking :/

It's mentioned at the bottom of the pack purchase page. You can upgrade directly from your profile page at any point after purchasing the original pack. You can use purchased points up to 80% of the value of the pack, or you can pay the difference outright (I believe).

You can also email support to establish a payment plan if you want to; the upgrade options were put in place to reduce the number of tickets created for simple, routine payment plans that people could implement via periodic pack purchases. If you'd rather get the access to the higher pack now, I think you can work with them to create a payment plan. So long as you honor it, all rights granted by that pack are locked in. That is what I have been told, anyway. I don't have personal experience with that method as yet.

can i also purchase the supporterpack via steam? i found no function for this, just to get the points.
i got no credit card an also no paypal account so this would help me alot.

Roll on pay day. I'm pleased about this as it means my friends can come & play in beta & we can share our experiences via chat - kinda lonely otherwise experiencing it by yourself
