Changing the wall stacking mechanism would mean changing the skill itself and I'm pretty sur we'll never see that.

What we need is a serious nerf on secondary damage and make them avoidable (block & dodge) to force EA users to include BCR in their setup.

As someone who's played dual curse EE full damage EA before and after T adjustments, that statement is bull shit. Even with reduced duration against people that don't suck (actually have resists and real gear) they can out regen or out dps you easily. Without wall explosions EA is absolutely crap versus anyone but ES users without ZO or bad players. The closed beta buffs to LMP and GMP plus the buff to EA itself will make this skill even stronger in close quarter wall spam. EA needs wall stick/explosions to be viable but it doesn't need to be doing the damage it does in said situation expecially x multiple arrows/explosions. Trust me I don't care who you think is the "god" of EA they wont be jack shit without wall explosions adding at least some damage to their overall output. If you're losing to an EA user in Sarn Arena for example where guys just firing at you straight and you're dying to stacks+duration...re assess your build/gear.

The way to balance EA is:

-Better PvP arena design

-Reduced base explosion radius and remove the + radius per arrow

-Fix the awkward areas in arenas where EA can suspend in the air + instantly explode as if it hit a wall..i.e elevation abuse. Example standing in the dungeon tile set and spamming south from the elevated middle section, causing the arrows to explode in mid air and damaging anything below. Same happens in a few other tile sets too. That change alone would allow people the ability to maneuver better and avoid damage in these cramped arenas.

-GGG should mechanically fix the skill before it bothers with damage tweaks again. Mechanically it should stick + be a duration based skill with aoe explosion radius. Just fix how it interacts at elevation like noted above and reduce its base radius again..noted above.

Edit: If you're letting people dual curse you with elemental weakness+flammability often enough to destroy you..quit pvping.

Id also like to elaborate a bit on ES users. Not all of them are free to EA even without ZO. Deth has/had a CI dagger with likely north of 10k es. While using PoF and over stacking his resists he was able to take many EA stacks, laugh at them and create very long duels against my EA character. This skill unlike other elemental ones can be hard countered by Rise of the Phoenix, stacking resistance and movement. While other elemental skills (spells) aren't reliant on EE or dual cursing to achieve huge damage. They just stand there holding attack nothing else is required.

Not sure about noncrit, but crit EA can for sure kill you open area. And rt flat ee+dual curse rarely kills you

Also, should add my marauder rarely looses to EA for that matter, but I see where people comming from when they say they do

The wallspamming doesn't need to be gone totally, though something must be changed. Like it costs more mana the longer you spam, or that you can after x fuses deal damage to yourself or something, this means they can still wallspam as long as they want though they cant just stand in the exposions like nothing.

The could also buff the flat x-y(buffed slightly in beta with 5% at 21) and remove the wallspam. This will force people to actually aim and killing someone will actually be possible without the wallspamming, then it wouldn't just be brainless spamming in a wall without really carrying what's going on around the. The main reason this will be an issue is the 3v3s, as if 3 EA's teamed up it'd be quite hard to couter them all
